Oooh oooh, do one for domestic violence too, and arson, and theft, and burglary... I especially like how 60-90% of burglaries aren't even solved. Oh and do murder, I like the murder one.
i'm saying that there are lots of crimes, many rapes of which aren't even brought to light(Domestic rape/male victim rape). Blaming "a cultural of rape" is alot like saying "A culture of materialism is responsible for murder." You may be able to spin hard enough to make an argument, but that doesn't help the victim. Want to help? Volunteer at a women's shelter, they never have enough people. So what you are saying is that because you don't agree with the political spin, you dismiss the message entirely? Nice..
Edit: or perhaps it's a deeper seeded issue...misogyny, perhaps?

Then why didn't you say that in the first place instead of injecting load of douchebaggery?
Rather than just saying "Ya, you're right it's horrible"? Because I don't believe in rewarding people who state the obvious. Then why didn't you say that in the first place instead of injecting load of douchebaggery?
Steelplate apologizes for what happened to Brian Banks. For those who don't know Brian Banks was a stud high school football recruit who had many D-1 scholarship offers and a girl at his school accused him of rape. Brian spent five years in jail and the girl admitted she lied about the rape charge and he was exnozerated. His story made 60 Minutes. Steelplate apologizes. Hey keep putting good men in jail Steelplate.

Well, I'm new here...so I have to take things at face value.

What in the hell are you talking about? I saw that 60 minutes episode. I mean, besides your childish tantrum complete with idiotic transference of blame, your post doesn't even make a lick of sense.
Are you saying that real rape is not happening and that all convictions are like the 60 minutes guy?
Cawacko is probably drunk right now (he is notorious for his awesome drunken posting, and just flew into Orlando this evening). Banks was also supposed to attend his alma mater at USC.
There are some on this forum who take that position, it makes me very disappointed that Cawacko now joins their numbers. And here I thought we had a pretty good week on this forum and now this.

I feel like you're just going, "Male poster=part of the problem" since obviously you didn't read what I wrote. Please explain how you are trying to "fix the problem" because there are a lot of professionals in the justice system who are willing to try anything to get something to work, enough so that they've instituted some of the dumbest laws in an attempt to help domestic violence victims. Those of us on this forum that call it a "culture of rape", have or do volunteer for these women, we also give money, write letters and testify before our representatives on this issue. We women are trying to educate on this matter and when you deny the problem you are part of the problem.

So please Rana, what is the magic bullet to domestic violence? Or rape? or home invasion?
