Obama discusses the ‘family tattoo’

In this case though the story is about the kids but it's a parental story not a political partisan one. I would think any parent could relate to the Obama's here about having a talk with their kids about certain issues. I actually the OP's response was funny not in the sense of wanting the girls to get tattoo's (i'm not a fan of them) but would the President (or possibly ex-President if it's in the future) and first lady really get tattoo's? I don't know to me that is not partisan or political its just funny.

Sure...
RacistX posted the story because it's a lighthearted look at parenting issues. **rollseyes**

Where's your outrage about Racist X's comment that the Obama kids should get tramp stamps? How about telling him to leave kids out of it.

Well, first of all saying that they should get tramp stamps isn't insulting. It's a less then polite term, but it's not inherently insulting, nor is it insulting for women to get them.

Second, it's RazorX. He's here to troll and get reactions from people who think he's vile and disgusting. Feeding into that accomplishes nothing and only makes him bolder.

I don't feel sorry for her at all, she is incredibly privileged. But what does that have to do with your calling her a slut? Why should she say "NO"? Howey I am going to tell you something - women are allowed to fuck now. Even for pleasure. That's right.

She's not a slut. She very well be incredibly stupid like her mother, I don't know, but she's not a slut just because she fucked before she was 18, and as for getting pregnant that doesn't make her a slut either.

I feel for her because as a seventeen year old, who made a bad decision, by not having protected sex, she was thrown into the spot light and shamed nationally.

The Dancing with the Stars, huge opportunity to make money as a ingle mother, ngood call, popular show.

The abstinence preaching, hypocritical, in my opinion she should have been telling girls to use protection if abstinence wasn't in their future.

The reality show, I hate those so I feel opening up your life to public voyeurism, with a young child, not a good thing.

I look at her and see a person different from her mother, but maybe I m being naive.

I'm not angry at Bristol. I feel sorry for her. That said, did her parents tell her to go on Facebook and spew homophobic hate? Did her parents tell her to drink and smoke pot? Did her parents tell her to get preggers?

It's not me. Her mother made it personal. Her mother paraded these children all over stages throughout the country. Her mother applauded her as a role model for other teenagers when she was far from it. Her mother raised her to be a hateful, spiteful bitch. Just like her mother.

Don't blame me for pointing out the failures of the family.

I had forgotten about that, not cool.

How is it hypocritical? That's like saying reformed drug addicts shouldn't talk about getting clean. Trying to educate people about mistakes that you yourself have made is pretty sensible. It may not be the ONLY method she should lecture on, but it doesn't make her a hypocrite.

A very close friend in Wasilla had to face their vile and had to spend thousands of dollars as a result to protect her name.

Never, ever cross a vindictive bitch.

Howey, I have friends that shared your friends experience. Sarah stabbed him in the back. Most unfortunate.

My response was directed at Volt's comment that people shouldn't pick on Bristol, a child, because they hate Sarah. So apply that to the Obama kids, too.

Yeah but I'm not seeing HOW they're being picked on. Telling them to get a tattoo so their father would have to get one is a dig on Obama, not his daughters.

Wow, lotta intrigue up there! You and Howey, two strangers almost 5000 miles apart, each have a friend with an unpleasant Palin experience.

I'll have to light a candle at church this week, in thanks that she wasn't our VP. </facetious> :D

Well, I warm sorry, I just do not think she was the best person to be preaching abstinence only, like I said, maybe abstinence first, but abstinence only, which didn't work for her, seems hypocritical to me.

She also lived with her boyfriend, even if they weren't having sex, it just raises eyebrows.

Guess you don't think "tramp stamp" is an insulting term. I do, and I don't even like that particular tattoo.

At least to me it's still not an insult to the kids. It's about having the parents having to get one. Having a President with a tramp stamp would be funny.

Then drug addicts who have kicked the habit and those who had alcohol problems have no right to be talking to others about the problems of such?
Ex-prisoners shouldn't be talking to at risk youth and trying to get them to see what it could lead to?
Women who allowed themselves to be battered and then left the abuser, shouldn't be talking to women about abuse?
Rape victims shouldn't be telling others, how not to put themselves in harms way?
