George Bush also had the best African policies of ANY American president .. including the so-called black one, Bill Clinton .. and the real black one, Obama.

This will be added to Barack Obama's legacy ..

In attacking and destroying Libya, OBAMA unleashed monsters upon its black African population.

Monsters like these ..

I know I should watch it, but pardon me if I can't.

How is your daughter? My niece is handling Afghanstan with her usual cheerie disposition. I am so thankful for the Internet and being able to be in contact with her.

Know what I know about you .. please don't watch it. It's haunting.

My daughter is holding up about as best as I can expect .. but you're right about the internet. She can Skype her daughter .. who has grown from the bud in my avatar .. to this ..

Skype makes a big difference to my daughters mental well-being.

I'm glad your niece is doing well.

I feel so bad for her, at least my niece has no child, just her family and a fiancé'. My best wishes to you all. The grand is adorable!

Huh?

Hitler also did a lot for Germany's economy. Yay for him, as well.

Then you should celebrate Hitler for Germany's economy .. condemn him for his evil.

That's what I do with George Bush, Obama, and any and everybody else.

Why is truth a problem for you?

I don't celebrate what Hitler did for anything, at any time.

And I fail to see how Bush's efforts in Africa have anything at all to do w/ the genocide he committed in Iraq. And you keep saying that Obama's policy is like Bush's "on steroids."

Would you care to compare casualties & refugees on that one?

Truth doesn't change whether you celebrate it or not brother.

What Bush did on Africa demonstrates that his legacy .. is that not what we're talking about .. extends beyond what he did in Iraq or anywhere else. What Bush did with regards to Africa is called 'truth.' You ignoring it doesn't change it.

Would you want to compare casualties & refugees of Bush to that of FDR when he nuked Japan .. and didn't have to?

Would you want to compare casualties & refugees of Bush to that of LBJ in Vietnam .. which began with a lie .. the Gulf of Tonkin?

OR, would you just be happier demonizing George Bush?

Obama conducts the Bush foreign policy on steroids .,. AND, he can do it without the slightest concern that people like you will put him or his policies under the same microscope that you viewed George Bush with.

Hell, Obama can kill Americans without trial .. sign NDAA .. and attack a peaceful nation that threatens NO OTHER COUNTRY and WITHOUT CONGRESSIONAL APPROVAL .. and the same democrats who condemn Bush won't make a peep about it.

Any idea what a double-tap drone strike is? It's an act of terrorism? That's what Obama is doing. He's droning the planet.

Why is truth ever a problem?

You've got me wrong if you think I'm some kind of Dem apologist. I think nuking Japan was evil. Vietnam was a travesty. Obama lost my vote w/ Afghanistan (and a few other things).

The thread is actually about Bush's Iraq legacy. It just seems strange to jump in and praise his African policies.

I do apologize for any misconceptions brother. My bad.

I speak about the Bush legacy in Africa because I believe it gives a more complete picture of who he is .. just as I speak of the Obama horrors in Libya because it gives a more complete picture of who he is .. AND, it demonstrates that no matter whose ass in is the chair, the MIC is still in control.

Sorry, but the Shrub's policies on Africa don't exactly stand up to the light of day.

It just fascinated me how the Shrub is STILL in denial of all the wrong and harm his administration did. He is and always will be the trust funded frat boy who KNEW all doors would be opened for him and all roads would be smoothed. That our alleged liberal main stream media white washed and soft balled his "legacy" turns my stomach.

A history lesson, it was Truman not FDR that nuked Japan. FDR died four months previously!!

Sorry, but the perspective of a Mr. Goldberg does not a legacy make.

George W. Bush’s New Cause: AIDS in Africa
He won’t be at the GOP convention, but he’s battling AIDS in Africa and building his institute.
By Eleanor Clift
Jul 22, 2012

Now that he’s been out of the White House for almost four years, George W. Bush’s post-presidency is coming into sharper relief, and there’s a lot for his critics to admire.

Together with Laura Bush, he spent the July 4th week in Africa, where he helped refurbish a clinic to detect and treat cervical cancer. His jeans splattered with paint and with a baseball cap shielding his eyes from the sun, the former president said his work on global-health issues is a natural outgrowth of the freedom agenda he championed in Washington, noting with his characteristic bluntness: “One aspect of freedom is for people to be free from disease.”

This was Bush’s third trip to Africa since leaving office (Laura’s second), and his emotional ties to the continent reach back to the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief that he put in place 10 years ago to help stop the transmission of the AIDS virus from mothers to children. It was transformative for Africa—and for also for Bush, who found a cause that he could take way beyond the White House, one that would become a building block in the next chapter of his life.

Laura Bush is speaking at next week’s AIDS conference in Washington, the first held in the U.S. now that restrictions have been lifted so people with AIDS can enter this country.

He's at an AIDS clinic in Africa with his head on a sick baby. How many ex-presidents do you think are up for that?

As an African-American, I condemn Bush for Iraq, I support and defend him for his legacy in Africa.
