Every time we kill one of them over there, a group of one time moderates become radicalized.

It's a slippery slope that we should be trying to claw our way up from. I don't know what the answer is....I'm not a Middle East expert.

Yeah...that's a simple answer alright. What about Israel? What about our allies? We need to get Israel in one hand and Palestine.in the other and knock their fucking heads together and demand they make lasting peace OR....

We tell the Arab world that we aren't going to hold the leash anymore on Israel.

And we tell Israel that they are on their own.

What do we get out of helping Israel? Nothing. They're big boys now, they can stand on their own two feet. And if not, fuck'em. It's not our problem.
 
Leave also means force businesses out of the region. Is that something the adults should be doing to appease the children?

Does it? I don't think removing military presence, and not actively protecting the interests of multinationals, is the same thing as forcing them out.

And rightfully so. The foreigners are coming in and exploiting their resources, which could be used for the benefit of middle eastern countries. But, just to pick your brain: what do you think we do overseas to protect the interests of multinationals?

And, personally, I don't think it's a positive thing when tax dollars go to upholding these interests.

So, what are they going to do with their oil, besides sell it to Western companies - drink it?
 
Again, the companies can always spend their own money contracting security, but their presence is still going to force our military to react to terrorist aggression against American citizens throughout the world.
 
The answer is, they are going to keep attacking us. If drones create more terrorists, they deserve to die just as much as the ones we were droning in the first place. Also, they are a pathetic society and will never do anything like try to increase their standard of living.
