Contractors don't appear to separate their classified servers from their unclassified servers the way we do in the military, which is really problematic. I can't even email stuff from a RelCan (releasable to Canada) to a US only account.
 
I love the way the righties on here are blaming Obama, but excusing the contractors...and more importantly, the fucking Chinese government.

1) the chinese own us
2) all we would have is just ip's originating from china, a place with 1 billion people. there is plausible deniability out the ass with regards to the question of whether or not it was state sponsored hacking vs. some 16 year old kid that got bored of playing starcraft
3) the usa does the very same thing.

We hack into government systems whenever we get the chance .. and we infect those systems with worms .. Stuxnet is an example

But there is a massive difference between "yeah we are pretty sure" vs. being able to definitely say 100%. That's the whole purpose of plausible deniability in the first place. Perhaps you misinterpreted my comment to make it seem like I was suggesting it wasn't the case or wasn't plausible. That's not what I was suggesting. I was suggesting on a national level the chinese can still put their arms up and go "whaaa? who, us?"[/FONT]
