So, basically, you want to make sure that poor kids don't get degrees to compete with rich kids who can afford to go to college to preserve the value of the rich kids' degrees (and tough shit for the poor kids).

Allow me to rephrase.

How is my private, personal conversation with God less acceptable to Him than vocal public prayer.

There is a big difference between going out, proselytizing and spreading the word; and requiring our elementary school children to be led in prayer every morning.

Can you point me to any scripture that says any conversation with our Heavenly Father must be able to be heard by others nearby to carry any validity with God?

Yes. Completely. If a parent or child wants an education they can pay for it. The free market would provide. There would be scholarships for needy children. I know greedy liberals wouldn't donate but us conservatives would.

Case in point Washington DC spends $19,000 per student. I could educate them and send them to school in a chauffeured limo every day for that money.
