He was talking with police on a recorded line. Again, that is more than conjecture or simply Zimmerman telling us his side after the fact. It is on record.

He could have been thinking 'yeah, I am going to lie to police right now' as he said it. Obviously a possibility, but still the point remains that it isn't simply conjecture on my part.

So, we do not know what Martin was doing or thinking, just because Zimmerman lost sight of Martin does just mean that Martin didn't know where Zimmerman was, but Martin is unable to tell us his version, so it is conjecture. Between Zimmerman's story and the evidence, the whole truth will never be known, but it all depends on who convinces the jury.
 
I guess I should take that all back now that Darla sent me a pm all outraged over my revealing a PM. Threatening to have me banned (which might be the kindest words in the PM) for violating a rule. If you could all see how she flew off the handle in rage... you might get a good chuckle... I am tempted to post it.

the point is that if Zimmerman lost sight of Martin, there was no reason the confrontation should have occurred. Martin was gone. He could have stayed gone.

Lol, there are many possibilities, there is time that Zimmerman can't account for in his reenactment. I am going to wait ill Nancy Grace does the trial, lol
