The Zimmerman Trial

Meh....I'm not over concerned about the outcome. My whole interest in this case is that Mr. Zimmerman took a human life and was released with what appeared to be no due process of law. Whether he is found guilty or innocent in the current trial I am not overly concerned with as I'm confident that the jury will make the appropriate decision based on the facts of the case. What I have been concerned with is that Mr. Zimmerman be held accountable to the rule of law, which appears to be the case now where it had not been before.

how do you figure all that, given the parameters of the SYG law?

Yes, it is. And I can do lots. A restraining order , for one. Let me illustrate a convenient truth. You can't and will
never follow me. End of discussion. LOL

cool story, bro. the end all, be all is that a restraining order request would be laughed out of court because you wouldn't be able to prove a threat since simply following someone is not stalking. end of discussion. you lose and fail

Stalking is unwanted or obsessive attention by an individual or group toward another person. Stalking behaviors are related to harassment and intimidation and may include following the victim in person or monitoring them. The word stalking is used, with some differing meanings, in psychology and psychiatry and also in some legal jurisdictions as a term for a criminal offense.

According to a 2002 report by the National Center for Victims of Crime, "Virtually any unwanted contact between two people [that intends] to directly or indirectly communicates a threat or places the victim in fear can be considered stalking"[1] although in practice the legal standard is usually somewhat stricter.

Stalking refers to repeated harassing or threatening behavior by an individual, such as following a person, appearing at a person's home or place of business, making harassing phone calls, leaving written messages or objects, or vandalizing a person's property, according to the U.S. Department of Justice Office for Victims of Crime (OVC).

Like domestic violence, stalking is a crime of power and control. Stalking is conservatively defined as "a course of conduct directed at a specific person that involves repeated (two or more occasions) visual or physical proximity, nonconsensual communication, or verbal, written, or implied threats, or a combination thereof, that would cause a reasonable person fear." [1] Stalking behaviors also may include persistent patterns of leaving or sending the victim unwanted items or presents that may range from seemingly romantic to bizarre, following or laying in wait for the victim, damaging or threatening to damage the victim's property, defaming the victim's character, or harassing the victim via the Internet by posting personal information or spreading rumors about the victim.

Uh....I just "won".

you're delusional. your own post points out how wrong you are.

This is EXACTLY the reason why 'stand your ground' exists, to deter wanna be bullies from telling others what they can and cannot do. I'd put two in your chest and one in your head for it.

Right...and your threat to put two in the chest and one in the head isn't just your sad attempt at being a bully.

Darla, here is where you show your ignorance. If I choose to walk behind you for 4 hours and stand outside every store or office you go in to, waiting for you to come out but I do NOTHING to interfere with you, talk to you, block your path, etc......there is NOTHING you can do about it. It's called freedom. Now, I know you don't care for that much freedom but that's just too bad. ANYONE, white/black/male/female, that uses 'they was following me and I felt threatened' excuse to shoot that person following them is the murderer.

If you follow her for 4 hours and wait out side every business she enters, then yes, YOU ARE STALKING HER.

You can claim otherwise, as I am sure countless sicko stalkers have done in the past, but regular folk understand what you were doing is stalking her.

show probable cause or intent........can you????? no, you cannot, therefore you are wrong.

He calls it dating

again, your idiot warped reality does not make self defense in to a bully.

Self-defense? Since when is it self-defense, when you are, actively, "looking for trouble"? There is no law giving you the right to follow/terrorize someone. And then, you, claiming self-righteous indignation, and playing the victim role, doesn't work, either. You can't be the damsel in distress and the wolf in sheep's clothing at the same time, idiot. I call it the "Fay Wray" syndrome. The Bitch went looking for King Kong, and found him, and then started screaming.

let us know when your minimal intelligence recognizes that FOLLOWING IS NOT STALKING WITHOUT PROOF OF INTENT

It appears that you want everyone who shoots someone, to be given a trial and their innocence or guilt established by the Court.
Is that correct?

You should read the screaming, insult filled rants the little crybaby PM'd me about how I need to be more "mature".

Just another example of how they live their lives by the "do as I say and not as I do" rule.

Your whining is very immature!

your histrionics and blustering are humorous. I CAN FOLLOW YOU ALL I WANT!!! and as long as I don't touch you, harass you, block your path, there is NOTHING you can do about it. simply following you is NOT terrorizing you, you fucking idiot.

Unbelievable.

And if you noticed someone following you for hours at a time, would you just ignore him or would you brandish your weapon in an attempt to bully the "follower" from continuing to follow you?

yes, that would be all that could be done. that would NOT give any of you idiots the legal right to come after me to 'whup my ass'.

So now you admit she'd be within her legal rights to call the police?

That's not what you said just minutes ago...

I CAN FOLLOW YOU ALL I WANT!!! and as long as I don't touch you, harass you, block your path, there is NOTHING you can do about it.

Make up your mind please.
