The stupidization of American government

so you are going to pretend all that history of the town doesn't exist so you can talk about one persons view ?

so you are going to pretend all that history of the town doesn't exist so you can talk about one persons view ?

I'm not pretending anything. I just want your answer to ONE question, that I've been asking you for days.

It's easy; if you don't think Jimmy Carter is a racist, just say so.

if what he said was racist then yes.

go get his words and we will examine them in detail.

LOL

You've seen his words. He AGREED with the jury's verdict.

When I did, you said I found the ear witnesses' testimony to be a lie, because she's black, and called me a racist.

Why won't you do the same for Carter, desh?

go get his words and Ill answer in detail like you wanted me to

"I think the jury made the right decision based on the evidence presented, because the prosecution inadvertently set the standard so high that the jury had to be convinced that it was a deliberate act by Zimmerman, that he was not at all defending himself"

“It’s not a moral question, it was a legal question, and the American law requires that the jury listen to the evidence presented."

that was the jury instructions

why do you think they were written by the prosecution alone?

You have argued, repeatedly, that anyone who thinks the jury made the right call, clearly disbelieves the ear witness & thinks she is lying.

Does that apply to Jimmy Carter?

Nope I have said that anyone who discounts this witness to find zimmy innocent sits on a mountain of racist bagage

It really wouldn't have been that hard to make the cuts & raise the revenues needed to avoid this past week's disaster. Tip O'Neil & Reagan would have done this in their sleep. It was all kinds of different in the '80's and prior to that; those were the days when the "base" took a backseat to compromise when it came to the good of the people as a whole.

Now, it's only about the base, 24x7. Obama & Boehner & the rest would rather posture and get high marks from their respective stalwarts for "holding their ground" than actually fix a problem.

For this, I blame Rush Limbaugh (and subsequently every idiot talk radio & cable pundit that followed him). He is relentless about the evils of "compromise", and how traitorous those who engage in it are. All to a chorus of "ditto's".

We reward this behavior, and get the gov't we deserve as a result.

Tip O'Neil should've never compromised!
