The right's "hostility towards the poor" has reached a "fever pitch."

So let's get this straight. Greed as defined by the left is for a person to want to keep what they have legally earned, but coveting another persons property that you did not earn is not considered greed?

Is that the basic tenet of the left?

So someone explain to me why it is greedy to want to keep that which you have earned?

So the rich feel entitled to their money. Sounds like entitlement culture to me.

It makes you wonder how much more does inequality has to grow before it destablizes our nation politically? Currently the top 1% own nearly 40% of the nations net worth. The bottom 20% owns less than 6%. How much is to much before it tips the balances? Does the top 1% have to own 50%? 60%?

My main arguments about the plutocrats and pro-business end of the Republican party (not that I'm not pro-business) has been, why are they the only ones permitted to negotiate what the market will bear for their goods and services? How comes if a professional or skilled tradesman or laborer tries to do so it magically becomes GASP "SOCIALISM!"?

What baffles me is that there are vast numbers of people in this nation who enable the growing disparity in inequality by consistatnly favoring social issues over their financial best interest.

Do you feel you should be able to keep the money that you have legally earned?

BTW. Your snark didn't answer the question. Don't worry. No liberal ever has been able to answer that question.

You won't be any different. You will just descend into adhominem and non sequitur.

The rich don't believe in free markets, they believe in markets that work for them.

Lol at the opinion thread

It compares US poor to Kenyan poor.

I could probably find at least a half-dozen comments from people here who do just that. People who say we "give" the American poor too much compared to what the (name 3rd world country) poor have to live on.
