Where were you?

I was in the 7th grade when they announced of the PA system, the president had been shot and had died!

What might have been???

I can't help thinking that Hoover wasn't going to sit on all the dirt that the FBi had gathered on JFK and would have used it sooner or later.

I was in my first year of school and walked home and came in the back door and my mother said "kenenedy was shot".

I was proud of my self for knowing that was the president.

I sat down in front of the TV and began to watch the coverage.

Its some of my earliest memories.

I also remember my mother campaigning for Goldwater before that.

My dad was a conservadem.

I have always been fascinated with the lefts love affair with Kennedy the tax cutting for the rich democrat President. There aren't many policies he advocated that today's democrats would support.

Cognitive dissonance. It is a beautiful thing

Desh, you said previously that JFK being murdered by a Communist taught you that the right was willing to kill anyone to further their goals.

That was one of my favorite posts of yours.
