Proof that Righties HATE President Obama

Clearly the Republicans abused the Democratic advantage that filibustering gave them and turned it from a tool to allow more democracy for the minority into a way for the minority to hinder democracy, the purpose for the rule was ruined and the Democrats properly terminated the rule. It had outlived its purpose.

When was all this then? The 1860's, I suppose.

Finally, a rational, reasoned explanation of how Congressional Righties have corrupted the process.

But I heard many Republicans go on record saying that the change in filibuster rules was a bad thing, so I am sure they will reverse it just as soon as they get the majority in the Senate.

That's why Reid spoke out against changing the filibuster rules in 2005 when Democrats were in the minority but supports changing them today while in the majority. Such a principled man isn't he Jarod?

give us the names and lets go over them one by one.

You see lies you pull out of your ass knowing nothing will come back to bite you.

lets go
hi dumbass, the rightie hating idiot, but LOVES one single opinion by a rightwing justice. your idiocy grows exponentially every day.

i'm sure you idiot leftists won't shed a single tear or utter a single protest when republicans do the exact same thing the democrats have done now, right????

They won't have to shed a tear. The Republicans will lack the testicular fortitude needed to maintain the rule change in the face of negative editorials from the left-wing mainstream news media.

McCain, Grahamnesty, and a gang of whatever, will lead the charge to undo the rule change, and revel in the positive press from quarters like the NY Times.

The future is so transparently clear.

No, he is not.

TO me that would depend on how badly the Democrats took advantage of the rule.

Cleaning up after the Zippy shitstorm.....

11/12/2013

Cornelia Pillard, the 4th of President Obama’s circuit court nominees to be filibustered,

following 10 nominees to the circuit courts by President George W. Bush who were filibustered by Senate Democrats.

No other way to brand it than to call zippy's post what it is.....

a strawman .....
a mis-characterization to create a lie.

Trying to create equivalency where none exists, it's just something the left can't stop themselves from doing.
Democrats suck it up like semen , with Republicans, it fails every time.

Do you you blabber, bluster, and blow smoke? Do you use 'strawman' arguements 95% of the time? Then more than likely you are NOVA!

You want proof?

Here ya go:

In the history of the United States of America, 168 Presidential Nominees have been filibustered.

86 Nominees blocked under ALL other presidents...

82 Nominees blocked under President Obama

No other way to brand it than to call it what it is: UNPRECEDENTED OBSTRUCTION.

Lost in the last three pages of idiotic Rightie obfuscation and obstructionism?

The clear FACT from the OP.

Rightie hatred of the President has been proven and not a one of the angry Righties can deny it.

You are the one assuming that blocking of the nominees equals personal hate of the President. You are entitled to your opinion but doesn't meant its right here.

The numbers don't lie.

This president has had MORE NOMINEES blocked than ALL other Presidents before him COMBINED.

Now why is that?

What is it about THIS President that is different from ALL the others who came before?

What exactly constitutes an "unconstitutional extremist" and where in the Constitution is this phrase defined?

Don't think for one SECOND that anyone will be able to back up their "constitutional extremist" nonsense with any actual, verifiable PROOF.

They will spout some vague nonsense about how a "CONSTITUTIONAL EXTREMIST" is anyone who interprets the constitution differently than they do and use that to justify their continued stupidity in the face of cold, hard fact.

Go look at the numbers while Bush was President and the number of filibusters done by the Democrats compared to the historical number. Republicans have clearly up'd the ante but do a little research before trying to come out with the race card.
