Having free speech does not mean you are free from consequence

I think I'm just going to leave and find a forum that doesn't allow people like yourself. I came for peaceful debate not to be insulted for my opinions and treated as second class because of the political party I associate myself with. Will you do the world a favor and grow up a little bit?

Bye bye dunce; don't let that forum door hit your dumb ass on the way out! ;)

Do you think homosexuality can be prayed away or eliminated by some type of psychological intervention?

It’s not about praying homosexuality away or fixing homo psyche; it's about the efforts of leftist dimwits to declare it normal behavior and of no consequence and further erode the moral need for responsible two parent families committed to raising the children they create in a healthy environment.

But alas, I do not expect the dullard class to have the intelligence to comprehend those realities; they are too busy feeling good about all their open mindedness and caring more than anyone else on the planet…as long as you are not a Conservative or Christian.

Absolutely not, and I've always had my doubts about claims from organized religion that this is possible. What I believe CAN be prayed away is the BEHAVIORS associated with ANY sexual orientation. For a long time I resented gays because of the tortured logic that they used to justify their sinful behavior, i.e. "God thinks my behavior is immoral, therefore I don't believe in God, therefore, I'm free to continue my immoral behavior, which I don't believe is immoral because there is no God, and therefore there is no deity or entity to anger", meanwhile back at the ranch, I'm on my knees in prayer asking God for the will and the discipline to stop looking at women with lust in my heart and chasing after them in bars for one night stands. As far as I'm concerned, it makes no difference to me if a man is looking at the swaying buttocks of a beautiful woman or the bulge in a man's pants, both are equally sinful BEHAVIORS that we can choose not to act on, pray for forgiveness, and hopefully discipline ourselves with the help of God to not repeat. It's a difficult path, and all of us will stumble frequently because we're human beings and for that reason we must be gentle with ourselves and others.
