Yes, of course, because nothing represents "life as a slave on you knees" better than a simple driver's license! In fact, if the slaves had known that freedom lay in rejecting driver's licenses we probably could have saved the whole country a costly and prolonged Civil War! Too bad you weren't around to explain all this back then!

Can you imagine if slaves had only known that they were fighting for a so-called "Freedom" that entailed having to maintain a valid driver's license!? Have to get a driver's license vs have to work in a hot field for long hours and no pay, can be whipped to death or just tortured for fun, and sexual ownership of your body is signed over to some man/men for your entire life. Huh.

Looks like the same ole plantation to me alright!
