They have some extremely advanced technology medical and military, that they not only trade with us, but agree to NOT SELL to specified nations. They are the only nation in the ME that we can actually work with in any real civilized manner. Not heard of any military secrets of belonging to us that they have sold. I agree that it is not our job to prop up nations, but I would argue Israel's interests and ours have more in common than not.

The irony of this is their theology is based on a dispensational model which has only been popular for about the last 150 years. It started with a batshit insane teenage girl named Margaret MacDonald who said Jesus was coming back before the tribulation to save his followers. She prophesied at a charismatic camp meeting in the early eighteen hudnreds, and the idea spread among the uninformed like wild fire. It is taught in seemingly serious theological schools like Talbot Theological Seminary and Dallas Theological Seminary. But far be it from me to ever suggest anything idiotic or insane ever comes out of Texas....cough cough....
