Indeed my country has done some horrible things. If I had voted for the candidate who was elected and who perpetrated those horrors, I would feel guilty.

However, I have spent a good deal of my life working to make things better or to right things that are wrong. I am not responsible for every crude and brutal murder committed. If I sat by complacently, perhaps you could make that claim. I have done at least some to change things.

Please name a country that has not done something horrible; then name me one that has done as much to Liberate the world from despots, dictators and tyrants.

Did I make any claim that the US is the worst or the only nation that has done bad things? Did I say anything about the US not doing great things as well?

But to try and deny that our nation has done some horrible things would simply be lying. The discussion was about people's responsibility for those acts. Those who support them, or even do nothing about any of them, are responsible.
