$1 Billion Surplus in Wisconsin...Gov. Scott Walker Returning It to Taxpayers

1) Wisconsin has improved, as has the economy nationally in general

2) A budget/projected surplus is just ... hopes/dreams... see if he delivers ACTUAL surpluses.

Even a conservative activist says that Corbett's a p.o.s. Who'd ever think I could agree with him?

HARRISBURG — Conservative activist Bob Guzzardi and Republican Gov. Tom Corbett agree on several issues, but Guzzardi sharply criticizes the incumbent on two of the largest policy initiatives of his administration.

The $2.4 billion transportation bill that Corbett signed in November and the impact fee on natural gas drillers he advocated rile Guzzardi, a Montgomery County attorney. Guzzardi is trying to get on the ballot to challenge Corbett in the GOP primary on May 20.

He calls Corbett a “promise breaker” for advocating no tax hikes in his 2010 campaign and signing the transportation bill, which lifts the ceiling on a wholesale gasoline tax and may raise pump prices by 28 cents per gallon over five years. To Guzzardi, it's a gas tax increase.

The “deceptive” shale impact fee Corbett signed was “enacted by two-faced, double-talking lawmakers who simply wanted more tax money,” Guzzardi said.

Yuck! What you got there is your wild RINO. Sucks to be you. Vote for Guzzardi next time around!

You either have a serious reading comprehension issue, are incredibly stupid or merely a BIG fucking liar.

Which is it?

Ranking by budget solvency in the study I provided shows Wisconsin ranked as NUMBER 4 with California ranked 45.

Pull your empty head out of your ass and do some research before you bloviate emotionally stupid.

Dunce.

Is anyone else surprised?

I know I'm not.

I highlight the ridiculous double standard Defective Truth is displaying, and he IMMEDIATELY moves the goal posts so he can ignore what he doesn't want to discuss...

He's desperate now to hide the fact he denounced California politicians for using projections to create a surplus, but embraced projections when Republicans used them to fudge the numbers in Wisconsin.

Good ol Double Standard Defective Truth!!!

I agree with you Zap. Double standards abound. Even your ole buddy Superfreak pointed out that these numbers were "projections" as opposed to actual numbers and proposed a wait and see attitude. I saw Walker on Fox this morning whilst I was flipping among the big three and he was, as you might suspect, being thrown softballs and being patted on the back and all. I told my wife that's they were getting pretty excited over projected numbers. I mean, I hope they're right...good for Wisconsin, but let's wait and see.

HEY!!!

Yes. Walker's handout to corporations, coupled with his lies about job creation, have Wisconsin in a bad way. There is no budget surplus. There can't be.

The above honestly sounds like you tried to cram a bunch of sound bites together to form a paragraph.
