Monica Lewinsky: Will Rand Paul benefit from raising old scandal?

I can't believe people take this guy seriously, he's another idiot who shoots himself in the foot every time he opens his mouth. Lewinsky was a 23-year old woman who made her own bad decision to get involved with Bill, but I guess Paul thinks she was incapable of just saying "no." And how does he think this is going to hurt Hillary if she chooses to run? I guess the dunderhead forgot that she already ran back in 2008 and this blast from the past didn't hurt her.

Actually I shouldn't get so annoyed because it's comments like these that are helping to put the nails in the coffins of far-right wannabe presidents.

"Will the Monica Lewinsky scandal play a role in presidential politics for 2016? That’s possible, given that likely GOP contender Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky raised this issue on NBC’s “Meet the Press” on Sunday. Senator Paul referenced Ms. Lewinsky when talking about past Democratic charges that the Republican Party wages a “war on women." When making that rhetorical attack, Democrats should remember that their now-beloved ex-President Bill Clinton had an affair in office with a woman who was much, much younger than he, said Paul...

“...He took advantage of a girl that was 20 years old and an intern in his office,” Paul told host David Gregory. “There is no excuse for that, and that is predatory behavior....”

...When Gregory asked if the Lewinsky matter should play a role in a possible Hillary Clinton presidential run, Paul said that the ex-secretary of State should be judged on her own merits. But he then connected her to her husband anyway, saying “sometimes it’s hard to separate one from the other..."

"...it’s also possible that the Lewinsky reference could hurt Paul, both in Republican primaries and in a general election. For one thing, it occurred a long time ago, and the past is a foreign country. It’s now 16 years since the Lewinsky scandal broke. That means 18-year-old voters in the next presidential election will have been newborns when it was fresh news..."

I was just talking about this half wit with someone. He's actually mentally slow and if he was a woman he'd be the witch lady or Bachman, a laughing stock. It's hilarious how white male power brokers take this fool seriously. But it's good because they may actually get carried away with themselves and nominate a borderline retard to run for president.

I had to rant a bit but agree with you 100%. Every time one of these mullah-clones like Paul, Huckabee or santorum comes out with their latest words of wisdom (haha) about women they move themselves further back from serious presidential consideration. Their comments are right in line with the Khameinis of this world but they're too dumb to realize it.

I just don't see his angle here, how does he think attacking Bill Clinton will help his chances against Secretary Clinton? How does he think this will help him with women? Unless he is just pretending to want to be president, and is only seeking money from fringe groups...

:rofl2:

If Hillary did not even know a 20 something intern was sucking her husbands cock right under her nose in the White house, how the hell could she run a country.... Is she going to be Obama 2.0, the no nothing president.

Did not know or did not care?
