I like a president with a good sense of humor...

If that's what was required to get him back to his parent... Now will you answer my question?

If someone refused to return my son to me in that situation.... That's exactly what I'd want done!

No, but I think I don't need a dress code to tell me that. If a lawyer shows up in a bathrobe, let him suffer the natural consequences, that does not require a dress code.

What "natural" consequences are those? If there is no dress code would the judge have any power to punish the lawyer who showed up in raggedy t-shirts and cut off jeans?

And I listened to that painful attempt at humor by the President, it was reminiscent of Karl Rove rapping. Your version of a "good" sense of humor is very different from mine.

lmao... sorry that you are too slow to get it. No, I don't think that was required. No, I don't think he needed a gun in his face to get him back. Or were you worried they might toss a shoe at the storm troopers from the closet?

No, but a client would likely fire him and a jury would be much less inclined to believe him. His fellow lawyers would be unlikely to respect him.

I thought it was funny, and I thought Karl Rove rapping was funny, in a different sort of way. But humor is in the mind of the listener, I guess.

1. The gun was not in the kids face, its clear from your photo.
2. The kidnappers were refusing to relinquish the child and threats had been issued toward anyone that attempted to return the child to his parent.

You have not answered my question, do you think the kid should have been returned to his parent?

Really? I don't think you're remembering MC Rove right, because that shit was hilarious. Obama's interview was meh:

1) LMAO... the gun was up and the barrel was pointed at the kid and the man. You are such an apologist.
2) LMAO... @ 'kidnappers'

3) Yes, he should have been returned to his dad. But the manner in which it was done was over kill.

It's just astounding how so many Rightie here want to whitewash over those inconvenient facts and continually rewrite history to try and demonize someone for attempting to reunite a father and his son.

Just not at his FACE like you tried to claim...do you EVER tell the truth?

Yes, KIDNAPPERS. When they refused to return the boy, they became kidnappers.

3) Yes, he should have been returned to his dad. But the manner in which it was done was over kill.

Retaking the child never would have been necessary if the kidnappers had done as requested and let the boy be returned to his FATHER.

Jarod, did you read any of these yet? i'm still curious to know what you think about it.

I did, I don't see any direct connection to AG Reno. I do agree it was an abuse of power and a result of a type of prosecution mentality that I see far too often.
