FDNY Entrance Exam Biased Against Minorities?

I don't care enough to continue this petty nitpicking you love to indulge in, have a nice day.

You know what this means?

The article doesn't state what he claims it does. Tom's internet flounce is well-honed from all the previous occasions he's backed himself into a corner built of horseshit.

Yes, the "petty nit-picking" of asking you to quote a portion of an article that you rely on in support of your argument.

The article points out that the Voice obtained copies of the entrance exams in question. They reviewed the questions and:

Answering them, we had to wonder: why shouldn't minorities be expected to do as well on these questions as white people?

So, where's the problem?

but the whites whose backgrounds were filled with ancestors working in the certain misery of northern factories should get MORE of a break than those black guys whose ancestors were lolling around in the lap of luxurious slavery.... right Taft?

Just wondering...

Does your formula make any allowances to exclude blacks who were later immigrants to the USA from places like the West Indies, who were never impacted by American slavery?

Or exclude whites whose ancestors never made it to the shores of the USA until after slavery was long gone?

Or do you plan to stick with the ole collective racial guilt/collective racial benefit formula?

You said the test was racially biased, the Village Voice said it wasn't but you still bang on regardless. Stop trying to hide behind the court and use your own voice, it never stopped you in the past.

Dungheap won't give you any logical reasons; because he's to busy hiding under a Judge's robes.

It's okay Taft, don't feel too badly. They're going to get to the Jews after they've dealt with the blacks, so you guys are working on the same team for now. Allying yourself with someone to achieve short-term gains and later splitting is the only way to get some shit done. And god knows something has to be done about the blacks. Who else is going to help? The effing hippies? I don't blame you, I don't care what anyone says.

You're so full of shit.
The first group is going to be those uppity white women, like you.
Once you know your place, the rest will just fall in line; because they won't be able to tell them what's best for them.

The dozy bint is obviously unaware of the Crown Heights race riots that happened on her own doorstep. As usual Al Sharpton was in the middle of it all stirring up shit.

I have no formula. I just have this belief, that you do NOT share, that slavery was CERTAINLY worse than freedom, no matter how hardscrabble that free existence might have been....

YOU are on record as thinking that benevolence abounded amongst slave owners but was non-existent in northern capitalists. You would chose, in your own words, the possible misery of slavery over the certain misery of freedom in the industrial north. I would make the other choice.

How many women did he rape anyway? He doesn't seems to have served a lot of time for those crimes. I like this bit as it seems so bizarre.

By the 1980s, Cleaver had become a conservative Republican. He appeared at various Republican events and spoke at a California Republican State Central Committee meeting regarding his political transformation. In 1984, he ran for election to the Berkeley City Council but lost.[SUP][3][/SUP] Undaunted, he promoted his candidacy in the Republican Party primary for the 1986 Senate race but was again defeated.[SUP][24][/SUP]

The comments made, to come to the ruling, should be considered to be insulting and denigrating to the very minorities the ruling was supposed to help.

AWWWWWWWWWWWWW.
Rune is groaning; because he didn't think that the comments made, in the ruling, were degrading to minorities.
I guess he doesn't believe that minorities should have any cognitive and reading skills; because he prefers to have them stupid and illiterate.
