There is already a mechanism where people that believe they wrongly been placed on it can appeal. Typical Democrats taking credit for something that already is in place.

Within the last year or so, someone successfully challenged their name incorrectly being on the no fly list. It took her SEVEN years to do so making her the first person to ever do so. Sad part is the reason she was on there had nothing to do with what she had done, said, etc. It was a clerical error.

An assault weapons ban would not restrict those already lawfully in hand. It's like a grandfather clause. So there is no need to make plans for what to do when they come to get them and are told no. No one is coming.

They've strengthened that process tough guy. I haven't paid close attention because I don't give a shit if someone is "mistakenly" prevented from possessing an assault weapon. I want them all banned. If you're so concerned I suggest you google it.

you do realize that there are already hundreds of us out there that mill and grind our own pieces, lowers, and uppers, right? we can literally make our own without having to buy them.....and no background checks. what can you do about that?

That's true! I'm in marketing. I imagine in some alternate universe where confiscation of existing lawfully purchased weapons was passed, marketing people would not be the go-to demographic for implementation. That's a smart point on your part.

No I am not a subscriber to Rambo Fantasies Today. I really don't know, I would imagine that may fall into the illegal category under such a bill, but I would suggest you call your congressperson to be sure.
 
I did a little research on the "assault rifle" ban. most of what I saw was cosmetic-but there is something about speed of the bullet
and perhaps the magazine capacity.

It should be noted that the Orlando shooter use a pistol when the gun jammed..so this whole thing is marginal at best.

what rambo fantasy are you referring to? i'm simply giving you information on what happens today, in reality. you know.....that place where you don't exist. we don't give a damn about what you feel is illegal or not. we operate on the constitution, pure and simple. we will continue to make weapons even if you somehow manage to coerce a tyrannical congress in to criminalizing it. what will you do?
