He WASN'T required to pay anything gulper, he AGREED to drop HIS COUNTER SUIT. Both parties found an equitable way to resolve the situation. He gave to charities from his charitable foundation. They agreed to let him keep his flag pole.

actually I found it odd that gomer claimed that Trump had to pay it personally and then provided an article which said one of his companies was required to pay it......I assume gomer doesn't know the difference between personal liability and corporate liability.......

All of the suits in question were resolved via charitable donations. The ridiculousness of gulper being upset over 258k as compared to the hundreds of millions Hillary took in for pay to play scam shows gulper is just another run of the mill hypocrite liberal. They told Trump and his country club to pay the $100,000 to a charity. Not his foundation with other people's money. Why is that so difficult for you to understand?

Let's try to focus here. He was the owner of the company that violated the law. The foundation was not involved, but he used their funds, from others' donations, to pay something that the company HE OWNED was required to pay.

Their was no settlement required of Trump. Their was Trump dropping his counter suit and choosing to make a charitable donation.

Clinton gave away favors for huge cash donations. Pay to play.
