we all know trump will lose

but you vote for failed economic ideas

I've never voted yet since I've been too young. My first ever vote was in this years primary and the person I voted for lost. I haven't been a part of any economic direction yet.

News reaching the tower:
With his party in chaos, Speaker Ryan has switched to damage control mode, working not toward Trump's election (Ryan's idea of a lost cause?) but to maximizing Republican advantage in congress.

I've never seen such chaos in the Republican party. And I trace it all back to SCOTUS Bush v. Gore.

Ignoring the will of the People is a BAD idea! And not only is the Republican party paying a price. The nation and globe will pay a price, when President Clinton is inaugurated in 2017.

then face that the rights economic ideas failed every time they have been implimented

For starters, it's a pretty narrow understanding of economics to ascribe success or failure to some policies that take years & even decades to have an effect.

Beyond that, I would question whose ideas have really succeeded at this point, given our massive debt. No one really seems to be getting it right.

Trickle down doesn't work. But tax & spend doesn't either. We need common sense economic policy that isn't punitive to those at the top, and takes a fiscally responsible approach to spending and budgeting. A smaller & smarter gov't, as Clinton himself once said.

A smaller and smarter government that puts the constitution first

Oh and how would you make the government smaller?

What would you cut? And you don't get to say the military. I want specifics. Go.

Man, you sound SO pissed today. This week has been rough on you, hasn't it? Poor thing.

And why do I have to "pass tests" for you? What an utter imbecile. After YOU were the one who insisted for ages that you weren't voting Trump, then "came around." What a massive hypocrite.

But, just off the top of my head: I'd privatize social security (while the admin costs aren't that exhorbitant, there is still a ton to be saved by doing this, as well as the boost to the economy it would provide overall). I'd cut defense, by a LOT. We don't need a cold war defense budget anymore - our defense now will be largely based on better intelligence. I'd cut a lot of the subsidies we have, like oil & telecom. I'd bring back the "reinventing government" gov't program that was started under Clinton but abandoned by Bush, which streamlined gov't activity and started to eliminate the massive bureaucracy that weighs down so much gov't action.

Stuff like that, for starters. And I don't care at all what a pissed off Trumpster like you thinks about any of it; I'm sure you're ideas are complete shite, like "get rid of funding for the arts" or something.

Trump wants to bring corporation tax down to 15% so that companies like Apple will repatriate the mountain of cash it has squirelled away overseas, tear up TPP and put the UK first in the queue for a trade deal. Clinton won't do any of those.

How cute you think you can intone emotion.

As I thought you have nothing but empty platitudes. Makes being a lefty easy doesn't it?

Crooked ILLary likes her voters just the way you are

You're really braindead. I gave you some ideas - not sure why - but they sure weren't "platitudes." They were specific. I was pretty sure you wouldn't be intelligent enough to respond w/ anything but the mindless drivel above.

Have you taken a look at Trump's spending plans, combined w/ his proposed tax cuts?

He'd blow out the debt much worse than Hillary.

we do need a cold war budget..one of the Trump ideas was getting NATO to pay more ( think of that what you will)
But Putin just moved nukes into Kaliningrad !!! If that isn't Cold War 2.0 ( along with the rest of the stuff)-
id don't not know what is

those are good.
The dude has some good ideas, and the thing is he's got them on his own -not with other Republicans.
