Did Comey just decide the election?

If you're objective on this, you'd probably agree that it's not the place of an FBI director to throw a grenade into the race 11 days out from election day.

However, it's a done deal now. Trump was 100% toast - but this was by far the lifeline he was looking for. I think this is huge news today, absolutely huge. It allows Trump to own the narrative for the last 11 days, after running one of the worst campaigns I've ever seen.

Absolutely incredible. A lot of pressure on Comey right now to flesh this out a bit, but who knows if he will.

It doesn't seem to me like the content is gonna be a major blow to Hillary unless she and/or Bill are somehow implicated in Weiner's actions.

The FBI and the New York Police Department have opened preliminary investigations of allegations that the former New York Democratic congressman exchanged sexually explicit text messages with a purportedly underage girl.The emails in question were sent or received by Abedin, according to a law enforcement official. There were a "considerable number" of emails being reviewed from at least one device shared by Abedin and Weinder, the official said. A separate official described it as thousands of pages.

The FBI is looking at whether any of the newly discovered emails will have an impact on the investigation into Clinton's server that was closed earlier this year.

Law enforcement sources say the newly discovered emails are not related to WikiLeaks or the Clinton Foundation. They would not describe in further detail the content of the emails. A law enforcement official said the newly discovered emails were found on an electronic device that the FBI didn't previously have in its possession.

I'm really sick of being the most intelligent poster on JPP. I literally have to point out to people that 16% or 20% isn't a conventionally rare occurrence. Given elections happen every 4 years you would expect to see a 20% upset once every two decades. In an election with this much volatility it's really not crazy trump could pull it off. Anyone that says trump was 100% to lose simply doesn't understand politics or statistics or basic logic.

The content doesn't really matter. We likely won't even know the content until after the election.

There is zero irony in my comments. I never denied clinton having an outside chance at winning texas. I was mocking you for making a retarded thread about how trump was a bad candidate because he was 84% to win texas, which is something else entirely and quite a stupid statement.

She is bleeding the black vote. Those be facts. What better way for her to now cry crocodile tears to her potential supporters than to try to play Trump and claims the system is "rigged" and try to gin up her base which is failing her right now.

He interjected himself into this race the second he didn't prosecute Crooked Hillary and was laughably forced to use the synonyms of "extreme carelessness," in place of "gross negligence," so as to avoid the exact wording of the statute Hitlery violated.
