Getting smacked by reality!

Well, I've been smacked in the head with reality. It doesn't feel good but it is good for me, I am surprised but also hopeful because maybe I have been wrong about Trump. Maybe he will be our champion, maybe he will make America greater.

I hope to find things I can support, I hope he is successful in making America greater. I won't agree to do to him what what they did to Obama. I won't automatically oppose everything he does.

Why would you automatically oppose everything? Trump isn't a conservative.

You can't it was a clean sweep. And fyi Obama steamrolled over the Congress.
 
I expect to see Liberals suddenly all for obstructionism and attempting to prevent the new President from passing any legislation. Oh WAIT; Republicans control the Senate and the House.....NEVER MIND!! :rofl2:

I still oppose Trump. I know people don't believe that. I was and always will be a Cruz guy. My support of Trump was all about the Supreme Court. Nominate Scalia types and I will be good. My support for Trump the past two months or so was more an opposition to the establishment that claimed he had no chance.
 
I did tell you this election was unlike others.
Too many polls were not intended to be predictive but rather marketing.

See, this is why it's going to get interesting. And hopefully beneficial.

Trump isn't an ideological animal [like a Cruz], so there's the potential for bipartisanship that we didn't see under Obama. I can see both sides being pissed/happy in turn. But that translates into less gridlock.

Right now the democrats are in shock. But after the dust settles they may find they can work with Trump on some things.
