There are 3,141 counties in the United States. Trump won 3,084 of them.

No, I'm trying to tell you why democrats lost this election and why they're going to lose more unless they change.

People who stuggle to get by, be they black, white, Muslim, Hindu or purple, care more about being able to provide for their families than global warming, gay marriage, or who uses which public restroom. The Pelosi wing of the party is so far out in left field, they're even out of touch with the democrat base.

The Deep Blue wing of the party runs the show, and it was bound to catch up with them sooner or later. They were hammered in the EC.

I agree they need to change & her time has long passed, but I don't agree moving towards the old gop positions is the answer.......

Bernie & to a lesser extent Warren inspired lots of new voters & that is the direction the party needs to wander towards...

pelosi & shumar are the past, part of the fools that neglected the middle classes & working classes, simply took them for granted.........

Both parties have their fluffy social issues & I wholeheartedly agree that unless they stop being the second rate party of wallstreet & start looking out for mainstreet there will be many movements inside & outside of that party demanding change & opposed to them.........

One other thing I would add to that is immigration... No one really knows what the trumpf is gonna really do, hell, he probably doesn't even know..

But he pandered & played to ppl's fears related to that & I don't think she made it clear what she was really going to do either..

I recall talking w/ annata about it & some comments she made about "ppl having a right to come here" or something to that affect, IMHO that probably lost her many of those insecure or fearful of losing their jobs etc.........

As far as I know she never clarified that but I have no right to go to some other country that I'm aware of... Am I missing out??? lol

You're right that there is no 'right' to immigrate across another country's border sans permission of said country. And you're right that both parties kicked the immigration can down the road---for different reasons.

Hillary didn't make herself clear because she wasn't going to do anything about it lol. Why would she want to? Mexican immigrants make virtually instant democrat voters. They come here looking for work [or trouble in many instances] and entitlements. And no one blames them. I'd do the same thing, probably.

Hillary's status quo. Trump is the change agent and Trump's electoral lift off was on account of his promise to build a wall.

Contrary to media myth/hysteria, there's no good reason it can't or shouldn't be built. Other countries have them and they've been around for millennia. From the immigration status quo perspective, the wall isn't like laws that can be passed with a wink and a nod, only to be ignored when the Law becomes inconvenient later on.

But a wall---is a wall lol. It can't be passed and then ignored like a law can. And yes, they aren't an absolute barrier, but it would cut the flow of immigrants from Mexico to a trickle, literally. It would also drive up the cost of drugs on the street, but that's how it goes.

The media consistently portrayed us Deplorables as rank xenophobes and bigots for merely wanting the country to enforce its own immigration laws. Like sane country's do.

Since they wouldn't, we gave them Trump, and the wall.

Building a wall isn't a solution, it's sticking your head in the sand, IMHO!!!

Americans hire them, cause they work hard & real cheap...

You start arresting them for hiring, the "problem" is solved... That isn't a very popular idea because "AMERICANS" don't want to go to jail for their role in this, they don't want to be inconvenienced w/ the unplesantries, they just wanna yell build the wall & semi-secretively hire their nanny, gardener, maid etc........

Trump won lots of these counties;
