Donald Trump Names WWE's Linda McMahon To Head Small Business Administration :0)

Is there any intelligent life here?

I'M NOT A DEMOCRAT.

Not being a democrat doesn't have shit to do with the argument. This would not be the same argument had Romney been making the picks. It would be a different argument, a political argument.

This is politics of the absurd. That's a different argument.

The fact that you guys can't see how damaging this is to your own political future is both amazing and fascinating. :0) I'm serious .. and it's only going to get better .. for the Left.

I know, I know .. you can't see that yet.

stay tuned :0)

democrat liberal progressive. You are upset they are not of your tribe nor are pushing the policies you want. A lot of people do feel the EPA has been overregulating and they voted for another path.

Another one that should concern you is Elaine Chao for transportation secretary. She's literally in bed (ugh) with the Senate majority leader, and her family runs a global business. Talk about conflict of interest and Wall St. ties.

im kinda ok with that because we need the favors to get stuff passed in the senate. 52-48 is dicey even if we can count on manchin tester and other d's to vote with us a lot of the time

So you're okay with the trump Wall St. ties but not the Clinton. Figures.

:0) Try again

Start with this doesn't upset me at all. It's even better than expected.

Trump picking the grand dragon of the Klu Klux Klan to head a taskforce on equality wouldn't surprise me a bit. I wish he would.

This isn't just about politics .. it's a demonstration of the ignorance of right-wing everything.

This is a lesson America badly needs.

sure. Trump is fundamentally a nationalist and clinton a globalist so im willing to give him more passes. There are some red lines of course.

excellent point, and what I keep telling myself with the cons/wall st picks. They only run the show, but Trump directs it..

These are still just cabinet positions, and Trump strikes me as an activist ( the dude never sleeps) -so I hope that's where this is going

and if not then we just vote him out :)

I'm not exactly sure what that means. trump himself has business all over the globe, is he excusing himself from what he criticizes in others? trump is a globalist who paraded as a nationalist to get votes, i.e. he's a phony. But you and the rest of the cons will excuse this lie just like you do all his other lies.

yep. he either succeeds or doesn't/ that was always how I looked at him. Roll the dice.

-that and being an alternative to the globalist/corporatist/big donor driven/lying/warmongering/corrupt Clinton..*barf*

I want some GDP growth/wealth/reduction of ridiculous regs/border controls - if he gets it done, he gets another term -if not he's out.
Try something else..enough of the sameness

The same patience extended to Obama in settling in should be afforded to Trump.

Toughen up. The incredulous outrage you have been experiencing since election results, exactly 1 month and 1 day ago, we sucked up for 8 years.

When things start to turn around for the better in our country and people go back to work, we once again produce and supply well-made American goods, give the family a second chance, and protect our land and citizens, we want to remember you just as you are now.

Bitter, despondent, and generally just pissed at getting the all time "goosing" in front of the entire world.

Cockiness ALWAYS makes the best loser...

Annata, you're probably the only strong Trump supporter on this site who would actually turn on him. Tsuke has no reason to, since he doesn't believe in anything, and the rest are all morons.

Thanks for the compliment -but no thanks for the sentiment.
Of course there are always the "true believers" for any politician. But I really think this is more of a movement - Trump just tapped into it.

Nobody is going to support him if he doesn't deliver;
TSUKE has said the same on his(her?) sane days when we both talked about "rolling the dice" on Trump..

Clinton was just 100% unacceptable -but there is a real movement out there to bypass establishment gridlock/plutocratic rule.
If he doesn't deliver -i'm pretty sure he won't win re-election..what is winning? at least some major improvements in the economy

For Douchebag Donald, "winning" is being president. He has already won, and tossing him out in 2020 won't change that. If he gets re-elected, then, I guess that would be recognized as "winning YUUUUUUGE."

Meanwhile, all of the talk about Obama being perceived by his supporters as a "messiah" or "savior" seems pretty funny, now. I guess we've entered a period of time where our presidents will all have this sort of status.

nyu. For Trump its about legacy. The egomaniac in his soul will not be sated until he is recognized as the best president ever.

I think Obama wanted to be a trans-formational POTUS ; he's pretty radical on climate change, and expansive gov't in general.
He's screwed up on immigration too..Thankfully Trump will change all that.

By "winning" i mean the public perception. I agree Trump is already a Legend in his Own Mind.
But i can deal with his super-ego if he gets things done

That won't be possible, because a great president does need circumstances in order to be ranked among the greatest. Washington, Lincoln, and FDR had those. Teddy, whom many consider great, for example, didn't really have the right set of circumstances to work with.

^^ Why should it? Obama and trump campaigned on two completely different platforms, Obama on hope, trump on hate. trump is a 70-year old man whose character is set in stone already. I for one believe he's a thin-skinned narcissist who scammed the gullible into voting for him. Nothing trump said in his campaign resonated with me. I don't have to extend patience to him. He has to prove himself to me. And he could start by taking his arse off Twitter and acting like a president, not a teenager.
