I agree that it is generous but think it is warranted. There are lots of risk and work involved in renting.

We have a similar thing in Mass where one can build an apartment in single family zoned homes to rent as affordable housing.
At least it is movement towards utilizing tiny houses.

That's my objection. I don't see the need for the giveaway. Get rid of the zoning and homeowners and private groups will put up the capital.

The larger tiny houses in the first video are also a good option for young workers in cities.

Isn't the presumption that the rent would still be affordable after 5 years?
Tiny houses are not expensive and should be paid of in 5 years.
Also there is a cost to the homeowner in terms of privacy and lost use of the space.

Why don't you get your fat sorry ass down there and do it yourself? First you need to acquire the land or the right to patrol it, by fully compensating the landowners. But, no you are going to demand handouts and that it all be done for you because you are a useless waste of space.
