It's not the people, it's the policies that matter.

where i diverge w/Bernie's socialism is socialists want to cut up the pie more equally, while people with business acumen want to grow the pie -even if it's not all the gains divided equally.

By "pie" of course I mean GDP.
Something Obama could never get done because he only emphasized job creation, and not increased wages/wealth.

I'm not advocating "trickle down" crap either- I want the US economy to be vibrant and a world leader
even challenging China for GDP growth.

So tax cuts/simplification for the rich are OK, but they have to mean more wealth creation/tax cuts/simplification for the middle class as well.
The only way to do it is pro-business policies; only business grows wealth -not government.

It's been tried under every Republican, and only serves to widen the income divide in this country.

Business does not grow wealth for the working class. Demand is generated by the middle class...not the wealthy. When you increase demand, you increase jobs.

So how do you go about putting money into the pockets of those who drive the economy?

You do realize that every Republican since Reagan increased public sector jobs to stave off unemployment?

That's because the Republicans rely solely on trickle-down.
Trump has already turned back the excessive regulations that brought us WOTUS and Ozone as a pollutant to where even having a dry cleaning business get the count up into the high 70ppb.

Trumps problem is he's hamstrung with bogus "Russiaphobia" and an FBI fishing investigation/
And of course his own noxious tweets.

It's much more then trickle down, it's readjusting balance of payments, and maybe eventually getting
a way to keep good jobs from flight.
Another problem is the noise from DC drowns out any concepts of advancing the nation's agenda
