The owners could crack down on it and it still wouldn't be a First Amendment issue.

NFL players are paid employees. Very rich, and privileged, paid employees. All the league would need to do is stipulate in their contract that there would be no knee-bending or face a hefty fine. End of story.

When it starts hitting them in their bank accounts it would be interesting to see the extent of their principles.

This issue is all about race.

Whether one agrees with if these protests are protected by the First Amendment or not, it has little to do with what's really the issue.

I don't like Lebron and Steph Curry's comments .. so I'm going to fire them.

LeBron is about as dumb as a fireplace brick for starters

And Steph Curry stands for nothing except shooting a basketball into a hoop.

So I'm thinking Trump is about as insulted by their comments as I am on yours.
We consider the source and pass it off as ignorance. Put either of those two on the battlefield and you'd see in two minutes what they are really made of.

You not to understand the meaning of standing for the National Anthem exposes your not belonging here. the sacrifice that came before you is wasted on you. And that is a shame, an insult to those that have given so much.

You want me to vote Democratic. I go back to my previous comment which you didn't replay to. The City of Oakland has no Republicans and hasn't for decades. Democrats dominate California and have run the legislature for decades.

Where is the reform of the police department going to come from?

Reform will come from the American people .. no differently than civil rights.

The difference is the issue is no longer under the rug.
