don't make dumb moves when you have a gun pointed at you.

Natural selection.

as to the legal matters, if you have a reasonable suspicion, (being on call that a dumbass was firing a pallet gun out the window), and he reaches for his waistband, it's time to POP HIM AND DROP HIM

How does anyone know that he was reaching to pull up his pants?

You have a hyper aggressive cop who probably had shitty training. It's like he set that dude up to fail. I'm not a cop but there has to be a better way to deal with the situation than that. That was fvcked up

All incompetence should be armchair quarterbacked.

Is that why your official duties include watching other men piss?

The court cleared the officer of the charges. I'd guess the evidence against him wasn't sufficient to secure a conviction, poor little history major.

Don't let that stop your clueless second-guessing, though.

So if I call the cops and tell them you're waving a gun out of your house, and you walk out to greet the cops, not knowing what's going on, and reach for your wallet, you should get shot?

Of course you wouldn't get shot though. You're white. White privilege. Shitty little baby.

Wasn't Daniel Shaver white?

Of course it is, the cop had his gun trained on him at all times. He would have been charged with murder over here.

Tom is a cuck on guns.

All these second-guessers have never been in the situation that officer found himself in through no fault of his own. Despite the verdict that cops' life is ruined, because a stupid man was supposedly "controlling vermin" with a rifle poked out of his hotel room window and then reached for his waistband.

If every cop is pilloried while defending the public from threats, why should they even bother to serve?

Her's an example of a former anti-cop activist who learned the hard way:

Have you been in a situation? Do you have first hand knowledge?

I have a hunch you will not answer this post.

Completely false analogy.

I don't think one has to be a cop to recognize that situation didn't have to end that way and that it could have been done better.

The badge blowers here are ridiculous. There's no amount of police incompetence they will not defend. Guy was unarmed and cop shot him without verifying a real threat. How he escaped justice is sickening. Truly sickening.

Did they call the phone in the room and tell the guy they're coming up because he's shooting out the window? Why do we jump to assumption that it's a mass shooting? why go in without any attempt to diffuse?
