I think we stay totally out of it beyond encouraging the uprising.

The Arab Spring uprisings went on without our help. Word is the protestors want a return of the Shah Dynasty and if that’s what they want it’s not up to us to say or nay. Our interest is the overthrow of an Islamist theocracy in the region.

Whatever replaces the mullahs wouldn’t be Islamist based because the Iranian people are done with it. If they end up with some sort of secular dynasty, without spilling US blood or treasure, we would declare victory.

A yuge, victory.

Concerned constituents write, email, call in. Polling is just a small, inaccurate way of determining what the populace thinks. Questions can be skewed by either side to get the answers they want. They are unreliable as they constantly prove themselves to be.

I did read the thread. What does that have to with your refusal to discuss YOUR comment? You made a very specific comment and yet can't support it with any reason or facts. You're basically just a whiner who whines simply to whine. You have nothing constructive to add.

I doubt Iran’s ‘technical ban’ on Twitter has much effect. Or has sufficient effect, we’ll put it that way. I’m also confident the mullahs wish Trump wouldn’t encourage the uprising.

Even someone as insular as yourself knows that we wouldn't arm Iranian 'rebels'. Israel would never allow that.

I'm working today and tomorrow too. (people in a good mood buy more)

I do water aerobic rather then a lot of weights, and it doesn't tear me up like weights can do

Not going to happen. They hated the Shah dynasty. They might just want basic rights that religious zealots won't allow right now. The Shah was no angel, and the Mid East typically needs to be led by dictators. Any attempts to join the 21st century will be summarily put to rest.

Oh please ... we've sold arms to Israel's enemies before, and we armed Afghan rebels ... and Obama armed ISIS with over 2000 Humvees and U.S. military vehicles.

Oh. The gnat is back. trump has shown that empty rhetoric and early morning tweets do nothing to sway the pudgy little Korean. And the 'Armada' is the Keystone Cops of the region...looking more like a demolition derby than any uniform fighting force.
