Trump Administration moves to end legal marijuana.

the United States Supreme Court held that the federal government has the constitutional authority to prohibit marijuana for all purposes. Thus, federal law enforcement officials may prosecute medical marijuana patients, even if they grow their own medicine and even if they reside in a state where medical marijuana use is protected under state law.

many states have decriminalized or legalized marijuana use, the drug is still illegal under federal law

Nothing you are saying is incorrect.

We just differ on what kind of federal government we both want. I want a smaller federal government, with less power. I want more power w/ the states & w/ the people. You do not.

Sessions didn't make Marijuana illegal.....

Sometimes the law is an ass, like you.

The Left abhors States Rights. It's been their mantra for decades. :palm:

:dunno:

States don’t have rights, idiot. People do.

You love the states rights mantra because your racist heroes are fans to justify discrimination.

I really have to wonder if Sessions is going rogue on this one.

As most know, I have a long list of issues with Trump. But economically, I think he is definitely a pragmatist. I'd be surprised if he truly supported this move, given the will of the people & the economic benefits of legalization.

Trump kind of has a mixed bag on this issue, I believe this is another issue that changes depending on who he is talking to at the moment.

What do you mean?

I'm not sure how this is going to play out. But, it looks like the Fed is removing the restrictions placed by Obama.

Trump is cleaning the slate. That throws the issue back into the laps of congress and State pols.
