This shouldn't be a complicated issue for conservatives who profess to be for smaller government & states rights. If you find yourself supporting this measure by Sessions, you may want to step back and examine your views - and ask yourself if you're just programmed to defend anything this admin does now.

The marijuana issue has been decided by the people & the states. It should be over. What Sessions is doing is no different from the 'active judiciary' many of you complain about when it comes to issues like gay marriage.

For ANYONE who values liberty, this is a no brainer - Sessions is out of bounds here. He is opposing the will of the people, period.

I think I know where you are going with this and agree with you in part, but like to think that this is overly simplistic. ACA mandate alone doesn't promote individual freedoms. Trying to infringe on the 2nd is another. Both parties have their reach into our freedoms to varying extent.

But since you asked. Nixon started the drug war.....the country has been on board with it ever since. The only people I know who wanted to end the war on drugs are Blacks. But white people don't listen to us.

The dems never had enough power to end the drug war and there are some who didn't want to. They too, are misinformed and lied to about MJ, just as they were about the Iraq war and anything else that the racist right puts forward.

I won't buy into this both sides shit because there were a few dems who did put forth an effort to end the drug war, but as usual it fell on deaf ears.

The entire war on drugs was started by racist white men who wanted to continue slavery.

Get back to me when your ready to address that instead of trying to blame the drug war on Dems and President Obama.

Do I want it "dismantled" now? Unfortunately, that would hurt a lot of people. So no - I wouldn't "dismantle" it the way you're portraying, but it definitely needs to be changed.

You need to step back on this Sessions issue. You can't be a small gov't conservative & support this.

We will see it dismantled because costs will skyrocket next year. Trump promised cheap healthcare, it seems to be a campaign promise he isn’t interested in fulfilling, all he wants to do is undo anything Obama has done.
