Unless you want to show a change in the methodology the unemployment rate is calculated the same way. The labor participation rate issue hasn't changed. This thread was about black unemployment being low. On the surface that's a good thing but I haven't looked at the numbers.

I don't know where you get your financial information from but every article I read on unemployment discusses the labor participation rate. It's why people are still debating whether we are at full employment with such a low unemployment rate. And the LPR is brought up when discussing if the Fed will raise rates.
