Study: 82% of World’s Money Was Made by the Top 1% Last Year

Those must be the excuses your parents used to explain how you two low-life zeroes turned out.

It's why your baby mama gave up on you. The sperm donor that is your baby daddy knew you'd be a piece of shit before you were born based on the whore your mother is. He gave up before you were born.

So, tell us again about why wealthy corporations needed Trump's huge windfall tax cut in order to survive, prosper and expand...

Average people who vote Republican are mindless sheep.

so what's your point?

that you, for sitting on your butt and coasting through life should have been included in this "wealth"

Why would I be surprised that the top 1% would make over 80% of the money? I'm surprised it's not 90% or more. Do you even math, bro?

No shit. Mostly as upper mgmt and directors of large corporations.

And together they own 82% of the wealth worldwide.

So tell us why they so desperately need their taxes cut in order to survive.

They don't but then again explain to me how a tax cut for people who pay no federal income tax would have been better.

Who suggested that there is a "perfect solution"?

I didn't.

I don't recall asking for a "perfect" solution. But, if I did, I sincerely apologize.

I will try again. What would you do to TRY to fix it? Please be specific.

I mean if this is such an urgent issue, surely you have some sort of solution at hand to resolve it.

Thank you for your time and attention

The answer is really simple... go back to a barter system. There is much less chance for wealth to collect like it does with money systems.

People argue things were much better in the '50's and '60's economically and there was less inequality. We were on the gold standard during that time. Maybe we need to bring that back.

You're still asking for a "solution" to "resolve" the issue. I don't claim to have one of those.

But it would improve things if we stop loading the tax cuts to primarily benefit those who already have more money than they can spend.

Target the tax cuts to working and middle class families who are struggling to get by.

It won't solve everyone's problems, but it will at least make things easier and more equitable.

As far as people who don't pay taxes to begin with because they don't make enough, use the higher taxes paid by the wealthy and super wealthy to fund govt assistance programs.

That is the best anyone can expect. Nobody is claiming it will make life perfect and wonderful for everyone, but at least we can say we're doing the best we can rather than heaping more wealth upon those who don't need more.

And don't ask me who am I to decide who needs how much. If someone is worth millions of dollars and/or has millions in annual income, we all know that person has more than enough to live in luxury.

Start targeting tax cuts to the people who actually need more money to live, not those who have more than enough.

Everything was ridiculously cheap back then.

Of course, incomes were much lower too, but you could get by with much less money.

Sure, it was a different world back then. Many parts of the globe were in post war recovery and our biggest competitor today China was in Mao's misery.
