Bailey Holt. 15. Say her name NRA.

View attachment 5731

This is Bailey Holt. Yesterday, she went to high school for a normal day and was gunned down. Look at her....GOD DAMMIT LOOK AT HER! Her name was Bailey Holt.

Stare at this fucking picture of a perfectly innocent, perfectly great 15 year old who was doing everything right and was murdered for no reason...when you are done, when you can’t take any more, reply to this post and tell me that there is nothing that we can do to stop the gun violence in our country. Please tell me. Because this enrages me. This could be your daughter. Your sister.

A 15-year old, white male (and yes most mass shootings are done by white males) killed 2 and wounded 19 yesterday.

There have been 11 school shootings in 2018. Fucking 11 shootings at a school in 23 days. That is way beyond unacceptable. That is a national crisis. The assholes in Washington are playing political games over a stupid fucking budget and our babies are being murdered. This is an outrage. Look at that picture!! Her name was Bailey Holt." (RA)

Say her name NRA. Say her NAME!

So tell me again ... When is this Carnage Stop ... sure as hell didn't in 365 Days.

11 school shootings this year? LMAO!! I've seen that claim. For the purposes of this argument it is utter bullshit.

WHAT KIND OF LAW WOULD HAVE STOPPED WHAT HAPPENED?

Two things one can count on with the barrel-strokers.

1) The always predictable car/gun analogy.
2) How would it prevent THIS incident.
3) Now is not the time.....

Rather than talk about comprehensive, national legislation, they cherry pick.

Predictable as the sunrise

That was 3 things...

One thing is certain about anti-gun people. They can’t honestly answer a question like the one I posed (WHAT KIND OF LAW WOULD HAVE STOPPED WHAT HAPPENED?) because the answer reveals what they really desire.

And you made this comment: "What a ridiculous article. Blaming the NRA and white people. Pffffft"

Are you going to scorn trump for saying Democrats are complicit in murders by illegals?

I definitely think his comment was stupid. What now?

What is truly hilarious is that you disagree with Trump, but agree with the OP. If it wasn't for double standards, you would have none.

Yeah, I added that third without changing the first sentence. I could go on with the rationalizing bullshit that you barrel-strokers love to employ.

"The New York Times reported that Tuesday's school shooting in Kentucky was the eleventh shooting on school property in 2018 — just 23 days into the year. NPR takes a look at the other 10."

Yes, I read that article. One was a 31 year old man who, after negotiating with police committed suicide. The fact that he was in a school parking is not relevant to this topic.

One of the 11 "school shootings" was a report of hearing a gun shot on a college campus. No one shot. No one even SAW a gun.

Another "school shooting" was a pellet gun being fired at a school bus. No injuries (bus was empty?). There was a broken window. That may be vandalism, but hardly belongs in a discussion of school shootings.

Another "school shooting" was a criminal justice major at a college campus who thought the gun he picked up was a training gun.

Another of the "school shootings" was a 14 year old who committed suicide. While tragic, there is no evidence to suggest that someone who is suicidal will not act unless they have a gun. The fact that it happened on a school campus does not make it a school shooting for the purpose of this discussion.

That is almost half of the claimed "school shootings" that do not fit in this discussion. So yeah, while I would love to see something done about school shootings, to make sensationalistic claims is counter productive.
