Bailey Holt. 15. Say her name NRA.

That's why you have to read the entire article, because it spells out Adam's entire medical history and the way the parents, esp. the mother, handled him. If you read the article you'd see how Mrs. Lanza enabled his increasingly bizarre behaviour and that's what I'm criticizing her for.

I'm pretty sure any psychological report on any killer would not literally blame another for the killer's actions. But they would point out the issues, events and people that were in the killer's life prior to his actions as possible contributory factors.

Their conclusions don't match yours Dr Christiefan. Fascinating that you're more expert and have first hand knowledge of everything than they.

I must defer to your greater wisdom than those who profess to be experts.

Have you looked at the history of gun control in AU? According to this article only three countries in the world have a constitutional right to bear arms: the US, Mexico and Guatemala.

If the reasoning behind this question is to say that what happens in AU couldn’t happen here because we have a constitutional right to keep and bear arms I’m not buying it. They didn't do away with gun ownership altogether but did away with the types of guns a person could own, in particular semi-autos and pumps. This was 1996, I think, and that coupled with Bill Clinton’s “assault weapons” ban (which was a ban of a type of gun) contributed to the rise of the political activism of the NRA.

If you read only the last page or two you didn't get the full story. My opinion is based on reading the whole article.

Well, the first part is the conclusions and the last is the findings of fact which you, in your greater expertise, say are wrong.

I am just amazed how, just from reading the report (you are too great for first hand knowledge) you are able to draw a conclusion different from all those so called experts.

If I'm reading correctly the NRA supported a National Firearms Act in 1934 and a Gun Control Act of 1968. Did people protest those as attempts to grab guns?

I gave my opinion after reading the report. I made no comment on whether the experts were right or wrong.

Question for liberals,

If we let them take our guns away, how will we be able to fight a revolutionary war against the military if one is needed?

The evidence shows that in many instances Mrs. Lanza ignored or went against the treatments suggested for her son, and that she enabled him to lead the increasing dark life he was living. She was willfully in denial about his total isolation from everything and everyone. Furthermore, these people weren't living payday to payday and Adam was in some type of treatment his entire life.

You can enjoy the notion that I'm flip flopping and I'll enjoy watching your spin that puts guns over human life.

His preoccupation with violence may have been "largely unaddressed."

The report raises questions about how there may have been missed opportunities with Lanza, including whether his family's wealth and race were factors.

"Would [Lanza's] caregivers’ reluctance to maintain him in school or a treatment program have gone under the radar if he were a child of color?" the report asks.

Lanza's mother transferred him to a Catholic school for the fourth quarter of seventh grade.

"A teacher at the school later reported that he presented very differently from the other children," the report states. According to the teacher's account in the report, he had "very distinct anti-social issues."

"AL would write ten pages obsessing about battles, destruction and war. I have known 7th grade boys to talk about things like this, but AL’s level of violence was disturbing. I remember showing the writings to the principal at the time, AL’s creative writing was so graphic that it could not be shared," the teacher's account in the report states.

"It was not the primary purpose of this investigation to explicitly examine the role of guns in the Sandy Hook shootings," the report said. "However, the conclusion cannot be avoided that access to guns is relevant to an examination of ways to improve the public health. Access to assault weapons with high capacity magazines did play a major role in this and other mass shootings in recent history."

The report states, "[Lanza] and his parents did not appear to seek or participate in any mental health treatment after 2008."

What specifically did she do that enabled him to lead the increasing dark life he was living and what should she have done differently?

You really are stupid. I read the entire report, the others didn't. So don't try and tell me that they saw something I didn't. Moron.

The people who authored the report do not say what you claim.

I forgot my place, those so called experts are beneath your enlightened expertise Dr. Christiefan.
