First of all most libertarians do not support gay marriage. They support the government not having a role in marriage. That is a big difference. It is also impractical to say the least. It throws whole swaths of the legal system into chaos. Who is next of kin? Will everything now go into probate? If government gets out of the marriage business then most deeds will have to be rewritten etc. etc.

They believe that the government should play no role in employment. No child labor laws. No collective bargaining. No minimum wage. Discrimination will become acceptable. Workers will not be able to band together. Minimum safety standards would have to be negotiated by each employee and employer. I could go on but what is the point.

In short libertarianism is seems great as abstract academic exercise. In reality it doesn't work at all. Like I said is natures response to reason.

PMP "believes" that the republican congress passed a "Demmycrat" spending bill, and He "believes" that a republican president signed a "Demmycrat" spending bill.
PMP "believes" a lot of weird things, but mostly he just likes to type the word" Demmycrat".

Ryan and McConnell could have planned the vote any time they wanted.
PMP "believes " that their hands were tied and had to vote on a "Demmycrat" spending bill because there was a deadline.
PMP "believes" a lot of things that make him feel better.
Mostly he just likes to type the word, "Demmycrat".
It makes him feel all squishy and warm inside when he does.
