march for our lives expands voter rolls

Yea...not sure where that silly talking point is coming from? I think the Fla legislature's refusal to bring any gun regulation to a vote days after the massacre, sealed the deal for these kids.

The Right is running scared on all fronts. Trump is making a mockery of the Presidency. (D)s are winning races in areas that were solidly red. Now their beloved bang-bang sticks are in grave danger of being regulated as they should have been all along. Corporations are taking up the fight and distancing themselves from both the NRA and the gun-humpers. When you're scared you get drivel like this alleged "teacher" condescendingly describing these young people as "confused" and asserting that they should all just sit down and shut up. Guess when you don't have children of your own, you forget that each of these young people comes with a set of parents, siblings, grandparents, etc. Entire families have joined in speaking out and saying #NeverAgain.

You bet this will be discussed. But..if you think that you're going to convince kids that politicians who are owned by the NRA will exact change, then you are delusional.

This movement is laser focused...get the NRA out of Washington.

Nothing else needs to be 'discussed'.
Okay...you stay "laser focused" on what you believe is happening and we'll take care of business...
That's why we're here...to make sure that they get the correction information...and feel safe at home, in school, in the community and in the country.

They did a pretty good job of turning out millions of people in the latest march.

Thanks for proving my statement. Clueless turning out clueless. It's like the blind leading the blind.

Any dumbass that wants to ban something because it looks scary is a born loser.

You're one that automatically assumes police did something wrong when there is a police involved shooting.

as ANY rational and sane person should because they are government. ALWAYS question government....ALWAYS. it's the American way. automatically siding with police makes you a big government statist or an idiot.

how about getting ALL lobbyists out of washington? or will you just focus on liberal priorities first and everything else afterwards?

Empty words,there is no "we"!

You're not questioning. You're automatically saying they are wrong without asking any questions.

How did you ever make it in the Marines. If, as you say, the government should always be questioned, did you question every order you were given before following it? If so, you keep building the case for the dishonorable discharge, or at least getting the boot before your time was up.

ROFL. I don't think you ever served at all. If you can stupidly say that questioning orders is good enough for a dishonorable discharge, then you're just a moron with ZERO military knowledge about how a dishonorable discharge is warranted. prove you served.

I've seen no proof you served despite all the claims you've made. I'm not the one making such statements. You are. Provide the proof of YOUR claim and something to verify it's actually YOU.

And we aren't going anywhere...our kids deserve the best...at home, in school, in the community, and in this country. Walk all you want.
We talked today, a lot, about the speakers who weren't flown in to, or invited to speak at, the "march"...and why....The truth always is the easiest to explain....

News flash...I have a few real teachers in my family. Nobody is confused about anything.

Then the real teachers in your family aren't being honest with you. That's understandable....Unless their schools backed the walkouts without question and had 100% participation...

I wonder how many of those "new recruits" were of actual voting age. Most HS students are under 18, aren't they? I was 17 when I graduated HS.

I was 17 when I graduated, but at least here ,they raised the age when you can start, most are 18 now.
I was 4 in kindergarten. Have to be 5 ,now,many don't start till 6

Nothing has changed since I went to school here. Few HS students are 18, except those who flunked.
