Many hunters use AR15's

Think so?
I honestly can't come up with a polite reply to this blindingly obvious comment.

The men in my family used to hunt.. and they supported Greenwing and Ducks Unlimited.. I have hunted duck but not deer.

I don't think you should take the shot on the fly..

I just don't see hunting with an AR 15 is much of a sport.

They come in other calibers chief.

Still not the ideal deer rifle IMO, but whatever. What most people think of an AR as, is .223.

And is far as I'm concerned, it's a moot point anyways. Since the second amendment has absolutely nothing to do with hunting.

Actually, they wouldn't be a bad varmint gun out to about 200 yards or so. The ammo is cheap, and a good marksman could stretch it out to about 300 yards.
As for a deer rifle, with a closer, standing shot, for a good marksman it could be OK. Myself, I wouldn't recommend anything smaller than a .270, and that's even on the smaller end.
But no, the 2nd. Amendment is not about hunting.

It's a "sporting rifle," whether the "sport" is hunting or target shooting.
You'd best consult with your puppetmaster before you argue guns and
their uses. After all, she has a few "custom made single shot handguns"
and she's an expert on firearms, especially competition firearms

You no damn well, someone with a AR-15 would pump rounds into a deer, like they were in a Gay Nightclub!

Maybe you would, but a responsible and intelligent hunter wouldn't.
