I wonder how Otto Warmbler’s parents feel about giving Kim the opportunity and respect that comes with getting to sit down and negotiate with the President of the United States.

Maybe they are hopeful for the families of the 3 Americans detained there that this can get their loved ones out in better shape than Otto came out.
 
Meanwhile, two more LEOs were shot down, this time in Colorado. Remember when the RWNJs here told us that the shootings of cops were Obama's fault and that it would quit when Twittler got in?
 
With all due respect to the memory of Otto Warmbier and his parents, the meeting is an attempt to get lil Kim to give up his nukes and broker a peace treaty between the two Koreas. Not going to hold my breath by any means, but an attempt should be made.
 
Trump calling him honorable really stood out - I mean, it's pretty easy to imagine what the right's reaction would have been if Obama did the same thing...

Oh, I understand what she's trying to say alright, I just want to know where she saw anybody on here make that kind of a prediction. Personally, I thought that cops would be dropping like flies after Trump was elected and I'm somewhat surprised the death toll has been so low

2. The OP didn't have the decency to at least spell the families name correctly.

3. trump's about face on NK would suggest that a deal has already been made behind the scene, probably put in place by China

and

4. Not sure why you thought that unless you envisioned a lot of violent unrest. An improving economy helps lessen those sorts of tensions

Yep, I envisioned a lot of violent unrest, and you're right about an improving economy, under normal circumstances. But these appear to be the days of Trump Derangement Syndrome and we are still deeply embroiled in the Great National Hissy Fit

This is true. Of course, when dealing with an Asian head-of-state, throwing the H word around can get you places.
