White House Correspondents’ Association denounces Michelle Wolf

I thought Wolf's routine was over the top - but she's a comedienne, and I don't believe they should have any real limitations. People shouldn't be as snowflakey as they're being about it.

Whether you want to admit it or not, the Trumpsters are definitely being "PC" about this.

I am amazed at the lengths and stretches you go to in order to defend democrats.

It boggles the mind. Good thing you're hiding behind ignore so you don't have to see the truth.

Trump, if he wasn't a big chicken, would have had the last word. The president gets the final response. But Trump fled all the way to Michigan, cowering like the dinner dodger he is. You guys defend him no matter what low level insults he piles on others. He is the fucking president, but totally lacks class. He is a name calling insulter in chief, and you are fine with that. But a professional comedian joking about Trump and the goofy rightys., just not permitted. How sad.

at a formal dinner..making the guests uncomfortable to the point of calling her a liar etc.
If you notice the head of the association agrees with this

At a formal dinner? There are rules for you "America is too PC!" types now?

Interesting. How about a Presidential debate, or on a bus w/ the media when you're being recorded?

And anatta, the "formal dinner" thing is really lame. The comedian is ALWAYS irreverent at these dinners.

You're really stretching it. It is a massive double-standard on your part (and Trump's).

How come you weren't equally as concerned when Trump initially disparaged our entire intel community, and didn't acknowledge those who were killed in the line of work?

And don't come back w/ the "he didn't mean the rank & file." He didn't clarify that for many months.

Why should it be necessary to clarify what should be obvious to any thinking person?

Does criticism of FB include low level employees or just Zuckerberg *and those who make executive decisions for FB*?

Seems like an obvious enough answer.

good natured roasting is not the issue here, thing.
even the head of the association said they crossed a line

The White House Correspondents’ Association has now issued an official statement on comedian Michelle Wolf’s scathing attack on Trump’s press secretary Sarah Sanders at this weekend’s annual White House Correspondents’ Dinner.

The nearly 20-minute monologue was condemned by many, though in our polarized political atmosphere, Wolf also found many supporters. Not among them, however, was White House Correspondents’ Association president Margaret Talev, who issued a statement saying:

Meh. They knew exactly what they were getting when they brought her in. They're just so far gone in the hate Trump circle jerk that it didn't even occur to them that there would be backlash and now they're in CYA mode. Fuck 'em.
