Giuliani not ruling out chance of Trump taking the Fifth

Do you understand that when someone takes the fifth in response to a subpoena, they have to get a judge to agree that the person subpoenaed would likely incriminate themselves if they testified in order to maintain that position and not have to go back and testify.

The bottom line is "nobody is above the law. This was quoted by every republican during Clinton's impeachment process.

No shit Sherlock! Who is claiming anyone should be above the law, shit-for-brains?

The gop needs to follow its own advice or be forever branded as hypocrites and bearers of double standards.

It's too late for the DNC; they will always be liars and hypocrites.

Talking to yourself again? At least you have found someone at your own level of ignorance and lunacy. :rofl2:

The Republican party is dead. Trump took it over without a struggle. It is now Dems V Trumpettes. Trump savages Repubs who do not kiss the ring. McCain dared to disagree with Trump on a couple issues and he is treated horribly, rudely and crudely. Many on this board, jumped on as Trump trained them to do. McCain is a war hero, a long time successful republican politician and Trump abuses him. McConnell has been silent. Ryan jumped on the Trump bandwagon selling out like a porn queen.

How anyone can think it is OK to talk about McCain that way is shocking. But they actually enjoy it.

So innocent people cannot plead the fifth?

False!

He didn't say innocent people can't plead the fifth. You quite the dishonest person.

Having YOU call me dishonest...is like having Rush Limbaugh call me fat!

I am neither. Limbaugh is fat...and you are as dishonest as people come.

If you cannot read all that was written...and evaluate what that abomination, Donald Trump, has said about pleading the fifth...perhaps you should stick to playing with the other kids in the sandbox.

I hope that doesn't happen, though, because besides being very dishonest, you also are humorous...someone to laugh at.

He didn't say innocent people could not plead the 5th, he ONLY - - questioned-- why an innocent person would.

So yes, you are in fact a liar.

Yes, Trump said that innocent people don't plead the 5th. You should do your homework before you call other people dishonest.

resident Trump’s past comments slamming those who plead the Fifth Amendment quickly resurfaced Wednesday after Trump’s personal attorney Michael Cohen said he would assert his Fifth Amendment rights in Stormy Daniels’s lawsuit filed against him and Trump.

“The mob takes the Fifth,” Trump said at one campaign rally in September 2017. “If you're innocent, why are you taking the Fifth Amendment?”

He was largely targeting former staffers for Hillary Clinton who pleaded the Fifth during the investigation into her use of a private email server while she was secretary of State.

Trump also called staffers pleading the Fifth “disgraceful” and “a bigger deal than Watergate” at different points during the campaign.

The president, however, pleaded the Fifth during his divorce from his first wife Ivana Trump in 1990 to avoid answering questions about adultery.

And Cohen revealed in a court filing Wednesday that he will plead the Fifth in Daniels's defamation lawsuit against him.

Several Twitter users, including journalists and Daniels’s lawyer Michael Avenatti, resurfaced Trump’s past comments on the Fifth Amendment in response to Cohen’s revelation.

Liar. He posed a QUESTION as to why would they.

He NEVER said they could not.

Are there any honest liberals on JPP?

I am not a liar...you do seem to be a horse's ass, though.

It is obvious what that obnoxious, abomination Donald Trump was saying. But the jerkoffs who are his minions and puppets are not allowed to acknowledge it.

You are a laugh...and an insult to our Republic.

We will survive people like you...although I must acknowledge that you are doing as much as possible to damage the nation as you can. People like you are the reason Germany looked like it did in mid-1945.

Yeah, people like you were willing to back Adolf Hitler the way you back Donald Trump.
