More recently, he's led campaigns and protests against corruption within the Shia-led government as well as against Iranian influence, and pledged to overcome sectarianism by leading a secular coalition that includes Iraq's communists.
Sadr in 2003 created the Mahdi Army......

In the last year, he's undergone something of a reinvention:
he has reached out to Sunni Gulf neighbors, most notably in 2017 visits to Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, where he met with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) powers typically shunned Iraq's Shia, but are now making headway in the country through investment and economic aid, seen partially as an attempt to counter arch-rival Iran's entrenched influence in the country.

Ahead of the election, Sadr pledged a commitment to abandon sectarianism by forming a coalition with secular Sunnis and Iraq's Communist Party, who have as a result seen their best election performance ever.

He has also stopped advocating violence,
no comments on this? I find it amazing

That would be like Jerry Falwell or Pat Robertson saying he's going to form an alliance with Communists and the Lesbian/Gay Community.
In other words, it's hard to believe.

Iraq: Vote fraud allegations trigger recount, fear of turmoil
Electoral commission cancelling results from more than 1,000 polling stations used in this month's parliamentary vote.

The demand was supported by many Sunni politicians and others who oppose the election results which saw a successful outcome for three main Shia-led blocs in Iraq's first election since the defeat of ISIL.

Haw, haw....haw. Uncle Same says ' Wrong result. Run it again '.

I disagree with lumping them all in the same barrel; because some of them don't adhere to the violent nature of the radicals.

They are all the same -- just because some of them are not as violent as others speaks more to their cowardice not their benevolence -- it is impossible for this filth to exhibit any characteristics of that of true civilized people -- therefore they should have no place in civilization -- exterminate them all.

If Europeans politicians run on this policy, they would win in a landslide -- if Trump does this -- he will be king for life
