It was said that she made fun of Sarah Sanders looks, she did not.
Its not overkill.. Roseanne has a long, long history of racism and lack of impulse control.. She just finally ran out of rope.
Same thing will eventually happen to Trump even though his fans have spent decades making excuses for him.
Who is denying her racist tone? Who is claiming ABC doesn't have the right to cancel her shows?
Her co-stars are disappointed that they don't have a high paying job anymore. But that's okay, it was worth destroying lives to get rid of a Trump supporter right?
And let's not forget the hundreds of others working on the set that are not actors, but the writers, the gaffs, catering businesses, equipment rental businesses; but they are mostly liberals so I guess its okay.

these are all very valid points, and precisely the reason why, although we all agree what Rosanne said was unacceptable, and telling of her thoughts, you don't knee jerk react to someones mere words in order to make yourselves feel somehow vindicated. This move by ABC does not hurt Rosanne in any way even close to the way it hurts those connected with the show who are in all likelihood equally saddened by her choice of words. Ive heard hundreds of stories how co-stars show up to work, then leave by separate doors at days end. They're professional actors, working.
Political correctness has run amuck, I said that when the industry moguls parted ways with Charlie Sheen. Two and a Half men was a very funny and entertaining show, I wouldn't tell my children to grow up like Charlie Sheen, or Rosanne Barr in this case, but I liked their shows. And if you didn't then don't watch.

If you don't want to listen to what people have to say, why on Earth do you pretend to engage in a two way conversation? You know, when you shut down and refuse to listen, you're not really 'IN' a conversation at all. They want you to misunderstand things like this so your hatred of Hillary will be amplified. You know, there is plenty about Hillary I disagreed with, and I can certainly understand there are ample viable objections to having her as President. She wasn't my first choice. I just think we'd be a lot better off if people really got the facts straight, stopped being so emotional about this, and drew their political positions from reality instead of propaganda and 'alternate facts.'

I don't believe it is right that President Trump has gotten away with SO MUCH in his life and that he should be made President. That goes against our American ideals and values. It is a blot on our history. The sooner this Presidency is over, the sooner America can begin healing. Trump makes America the opposite of great.
That Roseanne is a big outspoken DEPLORABLE Trump supporter, and she is being THROWN OUT; is pure justice.

CA is an at-will employment state, but the laws so not allow termination over political expression or anything else discriminatory.
Nor is the supression of political expression legal in CA contract law.
A reference to the movie, "Planet of the Apes" is not at all racist since the movie is not racist.
But even if it were racist, racism is always a protected political belief, even if unpopular or hateful.
