I'm all for Freedom of Association and think a business should be allowed to refuse service to anyone for any reason. But liberals want only liberal businesses to have that right.

aug 7 2018 Infowars is not just being censored now, in the latest Totalitarian move against the outlet, Mail Chimp and LinkedIn have also banned them from using their services.

In a statement to the far-left activist website Media Matters for America, the email service made an exception to their rule about commenting on individual users or accounts.

“MailChimp doesn’t generally comment on individual users or accounts, but we’ll make an exception today. MailChimp notified Infowars that their accounts have been terminated for violating our Terms of Service, which make it clear that we don’t allow people to use our platform to disseminate hateful content,” the statement began. “We take our responsibility to our customers and employees seriously. The decision to terminate this account was thoughtfully considered and is in line with our company’s values.”

Let me explain this in terms even an ignorant, Trump boot-licker can understand.

In the eyes of the law, being a conservative, being a Trump-worshipper, or being a socialist is not a protected class under discrimination law.
Worshipping Trump is a choice. You have the freedom to choose to associate with Trump, or not.

Being black, female, handicapped, or gay is not a choice. People cannot control their skin color or sexual orientation. That's why they are protected classes in discrimination law.

So if you get kicked out of a restaurant, or get rejected for a date by a chick because you are an offensive rightwinger, suck it up buttercup. That's on you. You are just going to have to deal with it and keep a stiff upper lip.

shapiro had a great article about this. Facebook and others could have used many different reasons to ban infowars but they purposely used the most vague one of "spreading hate". He says that this is done because its not going to stop at infowars. Those on the right should be concerned as they will be coming after us next.

There is no record, legal or otherwise, of systematic discrimination against white males in this country.

We are a privileged class by definition.

If you are white and male in this country, you are the most privileged demographic of people in human history.

If you are white and male in this country and can't make it, it is generally due to your offensive personality, lack of education, inept social skills, body odor, or a combination of the above. It is not because of your gender and skin color.

theres a case in the supreme court right now arguing systemic discrimination against whites and asians in college applications. They cite some studies done.

I understand its still a pending case but it got all the way to the sc.

Also he's too ignorant to know that they are protected. A place can't kick someone out, just because you are white either. Almost never happens, but it's not impossible.

This whining about persecution has been going on literally for decades. Back in the mid-90s, one of my brothers-in-law worked at McDonnell-Douglas (now Boeing) in St. Louis. He had been there for 20+ years. He had an associates degree in something to do with electronics. He had a pretty good living. He ranted one year at our family Xmas gathering how he was passed over for promotion in favor of a younger black woman. He thought it had to do with affirmative action and there was no way she had his experience or qualifications; it was strictly prejudice against him for being a white male. It probably *did* have something to do with AA. On the other hand, she had a BS in electrical engineering and 10 yrs of experience at the company, in another plant. M-D had a long history of passing over senior employees with less education in favor of much younger ones with more.... regardless of color. I worked there for 3 years in the mid-80s and heard the same complaints from older workers.

That's right.

Technically and legally you cannot discriminate against white people, because "race" by definition is a protected class.

It virtually never happens in real life, as you correctly note.

A good anecdote.

There are a lot of reasons that working class white males have lost ground in America's economy. And almost none of it has to do with white skin color or male gender.

Yup - and judges have no answer to that. When AA victims bring up the 14th amendment, the courts refuse to discuss it. That may change soon with trump appointing conservative judges at all levels of the federal judiciary.
 
Political affiliation does not fall under the law of protected classes.

Mail Chimp's services can be denied to certain customers.
