Omarosa Manigault Newman, the former reality TV star who became a top White House aide to President Donald Trump, on Thursday released exclusively to MSNBC a secret tape of campaign official Lara Trump offering her a $15,000-a-month job after she was fired from the administration.

The tape — which, according to Manigault Newman was made on Dec. 16, 2017, just days after she had left the White House — appears to corroborate claims she made in her new book about receiving an offer from the president's re-election campaign. Manigault Newman wrote in her book that the job offer came with the condition of signing a nondisclosure agreement; she said she did not accept it.

On the new tape, Lara Trump says: "It sounds a little like, obviously, that there are some things you've got in the back pocket to pull out. Clearly, if you come on board the campaign, like, we can't have, we got to," she continues, before Manigault Newman interjects, "Oh, God no."...

I've met and worked with black women my entire time at a company and as small business owner. Some of these women were as sweet and gentle as is possible. I've met some that were black 'steel magnolias'. And I've met some that I knew I never wanted to cross!

I hope she has 100 such tapes and she can dribble them out as necessary or when she WANTS TO PISS OFF TRUMP!! I want her to 'DOG' him!!!!!

PS Voice authentication technology is CHEAP now and I'll bet my left one, it was done by sound engineers by MSNBC/NBC before it ran.

It's possible at some point these tapes will be tested for authenticity, see if some got cut and spliced so to speak in order to create the desired end product. There's already been some blow-back on the one with Imaliar, Lynne Patten & Katrina Pierson. One of the parties wasn't even present on that supposed 3-way call, but her voice got interjected in there somehow. We'll see.

Except I believe DC is a 'one party' consent 'state'. We're all parties there? What I don't know is if the 'caller' and the 'called' in different states have to abide by each STATE'S rules. Jesus, I can't even believe had to type that out loud.

But you are right, we'll just have to see.

Oh well, cheap entertainment. Funny thing though, if this entire DEBACLE/SCANDAL were proposed as a script for a TV show, it wouldn't be made--no one would believe it!!

Ironic too. trump doesn't believe that private discussions/correspondences should be made public.

Unless, of course, Russia hacks the DNC, and then private communications should be made public.
