US jets strike Syrian town with banned white phosphorus bombs – Russian Defense Ministry

Two US jets have bombed a town in the Syrian Deir Ez-Zor province with white phosphorus munitions, causing massive fires, Russian military has said.
Two F-15 jets on Saturday bombed the town of Hajin with white phosphorus incendiary munitions, banned under the Geneva Convention, according to the Russian Center for Reconciliation in Syria.

“Following the strikes, large fires were observed in the area,” Lieutenant-General Vladimir Savchenko said Sunday. There’s still no information on casualties caused by the bombing run, he added.

And I'm sure I don't need to remind you this country also dropped atomic bombs on civilian-populated cities in Japan.

The U.S Fed Govt has been committing war crimes for decades. Should be no surprise they continue to do so.

Personally I'll have to wait and see. We do launch bogus wars of aggression, colonial wealth extraction and occupation, we have extracted ourselves from the UN Human Rights Council, we do torture, we do jail whistleblowers, we have endlessly destabilized countries across the globe, we have supplied the Islamist Saudis with internationally illegal cluster bombs known to have a 90% collateral casualty rate in the field, and all save the UN Human Rights Council pullout was well in place before Don.

America’s reliance upon war to float its economic system is utterly bipartisan and deeply entrenched.

Because it was revenue generational for the right folks. War and slaughter is nothing but business for these people and ours is a war based economic system.
 
I don't know the difference in cost and profit, but we have lots of legal munitions that are effective and profitable. I don't believe we use phos or napalm on civilians. I just don't.

It gets used as a signal, but since the RT photo allegedly of this attack was used previously alleging the US usied it in Gaza a decade ago, when it was an Israeli attack in which the US wasn't involved, I take the reporting with a grain or two of sodium chloride
