Ms. Ford contacted the Washington Post back in July when Kavanaugh's name first came up as a nominee for SCOTUS. Apparently she was reluctant though to give an on-the-record interview at that time. As others have pointed out, obviously Kavanaugh and his handlers were aware of *something* as they had time to track down former h.s. classmates -- dozens of them -- to testify that he was just the greatest guy ever.

If it’s going to be she said/he said I would delve deeply into her political activism and ask about how she feels about Trump. And since democrats like to talk about Roe v Wade, I’d ask about her position on that as well.

She should be easy enough to paint as an opportunistic political player—assuming republicans are smart enough to do it.

Of course Kavanaugh will say she is lying, would you expect him to say anything else with his wife and children nearby. The issue with rape accusations going forward is a very serious one, with no real answer.
